Sinossi

In a world on the verge of being told that everything they once thought was merely myth is real, can one teenage girl cope with life changes she never saw coming?
Seventeen year old Kyndle Callahan began her year as a typical high school senior. Well, as typical as a girl can be while living life as a werewolf.  She wasn't bitten or scratched as most people believe all werewolves are made, no, she was born into the pack that's always been her extended family. She's never seen the people she grew up with as the monsters of myth and legend but everything in her life is thrown into a tailspin when her father springs some shocking news on her. Suddenly, reality as a werewolf is much scarier than the stories humans tell. Stunned by the prospect of spending her life bonded to someone she can’t even stand sharing the same space with and devastated at the thought of losing the only love she’s ever known, can Kyndle settle into who and what she is in time to set things right? Can the girl that grew up knowing only pack law stand up, embrace her true calling, and become the woman she was meant to be despite going against everything her family believes?
With the help of her best friend Abbey, Kyndle must navigate a confusing world of wolf culture, teenage drama, and coming out in a group that believes her lifestyle is unnatural.  Follow her journey through pain, heartache, several states, and the fight to be with the girl she loves and take her place in the world.

Rehema Njambi unpacks identity, faith, womanhood and – above all – agency, in poems partly inspired by conversations with the Black, mostly African, women around her.

Imbued with quiet resistance to patriarchal societies, Njambi's debut collection is an ode to the women who have raised her, and their strength and their ability to hold, sustain, and be rooted in their faith. The poems resound with their idea of home, and belonging they wish to pass on to their daughters.
    GHOSTS IN THIS HOUSE
There were footsteps in the dark all night,

almost every night, and we were scared —

but we didn't say a thing.
She called us to prayer in the morning, every morning.

With our small hands and smaller faith
we asked the Lord for protection —

but He didn't say a thing.

There's a new man in Máire's life. But some people aren't happy.
It's the morning of her sixty-seventh birthday, and Máire is sitting up in bed, enjoying a cigarette. There's a man downstairs. She is blooming.
Charting the extraordinary shift in social, political and religious life in Ireland over the past thirty years, The Saviour asks questions about responsibility, about how we respond to trauma, and about the tricky question of forgiveness.
Deirdre Kinahan's blistering play for two actors was first presented online as part of Cork Midsummer Festival 2021 by Landmark Productions, using the auditorium of The Everyman, Cork, as a backdrop.

As our weekly poem of 30-July-2006, “Jazz Fantasia” was a special challenge because it isn’t just about jazz, it IS jazz. The rhythm is central, but not so clearly defined, so we had to play around and improvise. Every reading is unique! (Summary by LauraFox)

A double bill by Terence Rattigan, featuring two plays of striking contrast that display his astonishing range as a writer.
A rarely seen comic gem, Harlequinade follows a classical theatre company whose intrigues and dalliances are revealed with increasingly calamitous consequences in an affectionate celebration of the lunatic art of putting on a play.
A powerfully atmospheric one-woman play, All On Her Own tells the story of Rosemary who, alone at midnight in London, has a secret burden to share that is both heartbreaking and sinister.
Harlequinade & All On Her Own was performed as part of the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company's Plays at the Garrick Season in 2015, starring Zoë Wanamaker and Kenneth Branagh, and co-directed by Branagh and Rob Ashford.
This official tie-in edition features both plays, plus exclusive additional content.
