Sinossi

Eden by dutch writer J. Sharpe - who is often compared with Stephen King, Peter Straub and Dean Koontz - is a apocalyptic horror/fantasy novel which was nominated for a Bastaard Fantasy Award in 2016.
Angels: they’re among us. I would know. There’s one trapped inside of me. But the image you probably have of these “helpers of God” is wrong, I guarantee it. They are all maniacal assholes.
Anna Meisner awakes, naked and afraid, tied to a chair in a dark room. Across from her sits a woman who is her spitting image. With tears in her eyes, the woman puts a gun against her head and kills herself. Anna is not found until days later and in a state of hypothermia, moments from dying. But when she wakes in the hospital, she finds that the police doesn’t see her as a victim, but as a suspect. It’s the beginning of a series of catastrophic events in which she has no choice but to to play a part. Is this the end of humanity?

"Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" is the original title of a novella written by the Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson that was first published in 1886. The work is commonly known today as "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", or simply "Jekyll & Hyde".The story is about a London lawyer named Gabriel John Utterson who investigates strange occurrences between his old friend, Dr. Henry Jekyll, and the evil Edward Hyde. The work is commonly associated with the rare mental condition often called "split personality", referred to in psychiatry as dissociative identity disorder, where within the same body there exists more than one distinct personality. In this case, there are two personalities within Dr. Jekyll, one apparently good and the other evil. The novella's impact is such that it has become a part of the language, with the very phrase "Jekyll and Hyde" coming to mean a person who is vastly different in moral character from one situation to the next.

A Bram Stoker Award Finalist: In this gothic-styled ghost story that simmers with strange, Warren shows once again her flair for exploring the mundane—themes of love, loss, grief, and guilt manifest in a way that is both hauntingly familiar and eerily askew.
People come to The Angelsea, a rooming house near the beach, for many reasons. Some come to get some sleep, because here, you sleep like the dead. Dora arrives seeking solitude and escape from reality. Instead, she finds a place haunted by the drowned and desperate, who speak through the sleeping inhabitants. She fears sleep herself, terrified that the ghosts of her daughters will tell her “it’s all your fault we’re dead.” At the same time, she’d give anything to hear them one more time.
