One of the most vital components of effective team management is the development of the balanced score or objective achievement by every team. These objectives should be including the overall business as well as the customer satisfaction or the measures of financial processes.  
Under any team management process, the teams in an organization should be empowered towards making decisions related to their portion of the business instead of merely making any recommendations to some higher levels of authority. While the structuring of the team might be able to change and people will be serving on various teams, the teams should be observed as some permanent fixture in the given organization, and not as some kind of temporary answer to any quality problem or business crisis.
