Sinossi

Will Isabelle find romance this Thanskgiving?
Kindergarten teacher Isabelle Swanner has her hands full with her class and the upcoming Thanksgiving play at school. One of her students, Cooper Bryant, is running her ragged, and she has no idea how to help the boy control his behavior. Love is the last thing on her mind, but when she meets Cooper's uncle, Isabelle starts to realize she has a lot of things to be thankful for--and maybe love is one of them.
Casey Bryant is an attorney trying to help with his nephew  after a tragedy leaves Cooper motherless. Between long hours at work, an unruly five year old, and a commute he could do without, Casey hasn't got much time to be thankful for anything. But when he meets Cooper's teacher all of that changes. Will he rearrange his whole life just to be with Isabelle?
Thankful for You is the ninth installment in the Christian romance series, Heartwarming Holidays Sweet Romance. While previous couples do appear in this installment, it isn't necessary to read the books in order. Dive right in and enjoy this autumn romance perfect any time of year.

She was just one of the guys…everybody’s friend but nobody’s girlfriend.
When his father has a stroke, bad-boy Kyle Worthington drags himself back to Murphy, North Carolina, where his one-time best friend accused him of starting the fire that left her scarred. Though he sees the accusation in everyone’s eyes, he’ll be there for his mother, but he has no intention of visiting his harsh, demanding father…or renewing the relationship he once had with his former best friend.
In spite of Kyle’s denials, Samantha Atkinson knows what she saw, and nothing will convince her otherwise. As circumstances force them together, they struggle their way back to a tentative friendship. Although Samantha has always been attracted to Kyle, she doesn’t have any delusions. She’s seen the kind of women he dates, and she’s not it.
Soon, Sam finds what she has wholeheartedly believed cast in doubt, and Kyle has to take a hard look at his priorities. Together, they just might learn that home really is where the heart is—a place of healing, forgiveness, reconciliation…and love.

You Were Created to Know the Shepherd's Voice—and Speak His Words to the World

This is a pivotal time in the Body of Christ: As the world tumbles into darkness, credibility issues have arisen within the prophetic movement, causing believers to be disillusioned, frustrated, and unsure whom to trust.

Yet God is speaking more clearly than ever before. Are we willing—and able—to listen?

Full of hope and practical insights, this book brings you back to the basics of how to hear and speak the words of God. By digging into ten biblical, prophetic values, Pastor James Levesque shows how cultivating qualities like perseverance, hope, and generosity will help you hear God clearly and accurately—and represent Him with integrity.

In these unprecedented times, His voice must be our guide, and His Word must be our lamp. And as you follow where He leads, you will speak peace to the enemy's storms and be the light the world so desperately needs.

The Global Vipassana Pagoda in Mumbai was built to mark the birth centenary year of Sayagyi U Ba Khin, the Burmese Dhamma teacher of S.N. Goenka. The monument is built in the Myanmar style of the Shwedagon pagoda, as a token of gratitude to that country where the essence of the Buddha’s teachings was maintained in its pristine purity, and from where it is now spreading throughout India, and via India to the rest of the world. Mr. S.N. Goenka became the vehicle to make this happen and was the inspiring guide for every important aspect of this building project. Tremendous volition and effort went into the building of this staggering monument, and it is interesting and educative to explore the journey. Mr. Bikram Dandiya has beautifully chronicled some of these experiences in this booklet, The Jewel in Mumbai, the story of the making of the crystal bud atop the Global Vipassana Pagoda.

As a child, Isaac Mayer Wise loved to study. Words were like magic keys that could unlock new worlds. He had big ideas and big dreams. Becoming a rabbi, he thought some long-held traditions needed changing, but some of his ideas were unpopular with European Jews. He decided to go to America, where he had heard Jews were more open to new ideas – and they were. He started a Jewish newspaper to share his new ideas and built a synagogue across the street from Cincinnati’s City Hall, inspiring a new kind of Judaism. He founded a seminary where both women and men could study, inspiring a new kind of Judaism, dream by dream.

In his Epistle, the Apostle Peter instructed us to give others good reason for the hope we have in Christ, but to do so with "gentleness and respect." Unfortunately, in the eyes of many non-Christians today, the church has done just the opposite. In Unchristian, David Kinnaman, president of the Barna Group, has complied startling research among the unchurched and learned that Christians are too often known for the issues they stand against, rather than the hope which they stand for. According to the research, believers are seen as too judgmental, too political, and often hypocritical. If you are a Pastor, lay person or youth leader you will not want to go without the details of this critical study. Uncover for yourself the latest research on the unchurched in Kinnaman's must-read book.
