  What’s considered the worst crime and who’s the most hated person in America? Most would say child sexual abuse and the pedophile. The principle’s everywhere. How do we normally deal with it? To put it poetically: to go over Thor’s face in the United States and overlook God, the truth of the matter, repeat the vampire. Tonight on Television, a book of poetry, goes to the heart of the matter, the creation of the pedophile and proposes stopping the process where it starts, which is in the caring for of infants and toddlers. It employs the ideal of oneness, non-duality, instead of the formula of crime and punishment, in dealing with that, how it addresses the whole issue, paying particular attention to the hatred of the pedophile and the damage that does to society, which is not only the proliferation of child sex abuse, which, it must be said, the poem aims to stop. I’m the fellow, aren’t I? I’ve spent many years studying the issue, first in university, where, after getting a BA in English and minor in History (University of Houston, 1988), I spent three and a half years learning Classical Greek, translating Greek poetry into English verse, not only to learn the writing of poetry, but to access knowledge on ancient Greek sexuality in particular and on the formation of the human ego and sexual orientation in general, doing a self-study on the latter two by reading extensively in a variety of pertinent subjects. Then I did an unorthodox fieldwork for several years after Ieaving college in 1993, becoming a vagabond first in the United States and then the world, spending 10 years living in over 27 countries on 4 continents, during which time I paid particular attention to what when down in the families I lived with, as, being an adventure traveler, I usually lived and worked with the local population.   A knight is a person who has been granted the honorary title of knighthood by a head of state, including a monarch or the Pope, in recognition of their service to the ruler, the church, or the nation, often in a military capacity. The origins of knighthood can be traced back to classical antiquity, where similar figures existed in ancient Greece and Rome, such as the Greek hippeis and hoplite, as well as the Roman eques and centurion. 
  Knighthood first emerged among mounted soldiers in Europe during the Early Middle Ages. At this time, it was typically associated with those who fought in battles on horseback, a hallmark of the knightly class. During the High Middle Ages, the concept of knighthood evolved, and it became increasingly seen as a position held by lesser aristocrats. It was no longer just about military service but also connected with ideals of chivalry, a code of conduct that governed the behavior of Christian warriors, particularly those involved in courtly matters. By the Late Middle Ages, a knight had come to represent the archetypal courtly Christian warrior, combining military prowess with a sense of honor and duty. 
  Knights were often vassals to powerful lords, serving as elite combatants, bodyguards, or even commanders of military forces in exchange for land or other forms of patronage. They had a special relationship with their lords, who relied on their skills, particularly in mounted combat, to protect their interests and defend their territories. This connection between knights and horseback riding is reflected in many words associated with knighthood, such as "chivalry," "cavalier," and other related terms. In this context, the knightly status in Christendom parallels the military class known as the furusiyya in the Islamic world.

  Before the Vietnam War, most Americans would have been hard pressed to locate Vietnam on a map. South Vietnamese President Diệm’s regime was extremely unpopular, and war broke out between Communist North Vietnam and South Vietnam around the end of the 1950s. Kennedy’s administration tried to prop up the South Vietnamese with training and assistance, but the South Vietnamese military was feeble. A month before his death, Kennedy signed a presidential directive withdrawing 1,000 American personnel, but shortly after Kennedy’s assassination, new President Lyndon B. Johnson reversed course, instead opting to expand American assistance to South Vietnam. 
  	Operation Speedy Express was a highly controversial military operation carried out by the U.S. Army supported by the Army of South Vietnam (ARVN) as well as regional and popular forces during the Vietnam War. It lasted from December 1968 until May 1969 and took place in the Mekong Delta's Kien Hoa and Vinh Binh provinces. The operation was a part of U.S. Army “pacification” efforts toward the Viet Cong, as American forces sought to interdict Viet Cong supply and communication lines from Cambodia and deny them the use of operational bases. Formally, the operation involved 8,000 U.S. soldiers and resulted in 242 American lives lost compared to 10,899 Viet Cong and People’s Army of Vietnam (PAVN) killed, according to Department of Defense records. Operation Speedy Express was considered successful by U.S. standards, as determined by the primary metric of body counts. However, while the number of Vietnamese dead, including civilians, is unknown, it is assumed to surpass 5,000, and the high number of casualties was attributed to the indiscriminate use of firepower, which included air and artillery strikes in densely populated areas.
