  Rodney grew up during the crack epidemic, with guns, drugs, and the threat of incarceration an accepted part of daily life for nearly everyone he knew. To rent his own apartment, he needed a paycheck—something the money from dealing drugs didn't provide. For that, he took a position in 1992 with a new nonprofit, the Earth Conservation Corps. Gradually, Rodney fell in love with the work to restore and conserve the polluted Anacostia River that flows through DC. Rodney's son Mike, a DC firefighter, has also begun his journey to being a master falconer, with his own kids cheering him along the way.

  When Winston Churchill died at the age of 90 in 1965, one of the most important figures in modern history had left the stage. That was important because the family estate was entailed, meaning the oldest son inherited the title of duke along with the land and the wealth. Thus, while Churchill grew up in Blenheim Palace, he did not inherit his family’s wealth, and that is one reason he became a correspondent and negotiated high rates of pay: he needed the income. The family’s aristocratic connections greatly facilitated his career, but it was his own courage, determination, and ability that led to his fame and historical importance, along with some phenomenal luck. 
  Before politics, Churchill was an officer in a cavalry regiment and a war correspondent, which took him to conflicts on four continents, and he escaped death more than once. His greatest escape was from a South African prison camp, which made him a national hero and greatly facilitated his election to Parliament.

  Hannah Arendt, the author of The Origins of Totalitarianism and The Human Condition, began her scholarly career with an exploration of Saint Augustine's concept of caritas, or neighborly love, written under the direction of Karl Jaspers and the influence of Martin Heidegger. After her German academic life came to a halt in 1933, Arendt carried her dissertation into exile in France, and years later took the same battered and stained copy to New York. 
   
   
    
  During the late 1950s and early 1960s, Arendt was simultaneously annotating and revising her dissertation on Augustine, amplifying its argument with terms and concepts she was using in her political works. The dissertation became a bridge over which Arendt traveled back and forth between 1929 Heidelberg and 1960s New York, carrying with her Augustine's question about the possibility of social life in an age of rapid political and moral change.

  If you voted for Donald Trump, and you thought he was joking when he said he'd be "A Dictator just for a day" - I bet you're not laughing now. Are you? 
  And when he continues to say he's "thinking" about extending his time in the White house to a third term, do you think he's Still "joking?" 
  Yes, I know the consitution says no President can serve more than two terms. The Consitution also says it's unlawful to send the National Guard and/or the Army into Cities. Ditto, allowing masked federal agents to stop, harass, and detain anyone guilty - of not looking white - Plus sendng them who knows where without due process..Likewise creating Global economic instability - which also raises Americans cost of living.(This is "America First?") This is, and will always be 'Trump first". And nothing says that better than his 200 Million dollar Roman Emperor ballroom. To be built next to, and, of course, dwarfing the white house. 
  Third Trump Term impossible? Think about it - Who builds a Billionaires Ballroom...and leaves? 
  In the last century, the Editor of the Baltimore Sun newspaper H.L. Mencken observed: "Nobody ever 
  went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people." 
  In Brother Trumps "Golden Age" it is America that is 
  "broke."
