Sinossi

Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890-1937) was an American writer, poet, literary critic and essayist, recognized as one of the greatest writers of horror literature together with Edgar Allan Poe and considered by many to be one of the precursors of Anglo-American science fiction. His works, a contamination between horror, soft science fiction, dark fantasy and low fantasy, have often been described, even by himself, with the term weird fiction (where weird stands for "strange"), being recognized among the main origins of the modern literary genre of the new weird.Lovecraft's horror novella The Dunwich Horror, which we propose to our readers today, was written in 1928 and first published in the April 1929 issue of Weird Tales. It takes place in Dunwich, a fictional town in Massachusetts. It is considered one of the core stories of the Cthulhu Mythos.

“A rollicking good fantasy worthy of both leisure reading and study.”—D. Donovan, Senior Reviewer, Midwest Book Review
Blood magic is dark and dangerous. Is it Dasha’s only hope?
When Dasha, Tsarinovna of all of Zem’, began a dalliance with her halfblood steppe guard Alik while on a mission of peace to the warlike Rutsi, she never thought it would lead to carrying his spirit in her body. But when he dies saving her from an attack by a magical wolf, Dasha saves his life the only way she can—with forbidden blood magic.
Blood magic is dangerous, but that proves to be the least of Dasha’s problems. After her betrothal to a Rutsi prince goes catastrophically awry, Dasha finds herself on the run through a beautiful but hostile landscape, hunted by Rutsi warriors and ravening wolves alike. Her fickle visions, meanwhile, have abandoned her just when she needs them most.
Dasha has to fight through her fears and learn to harness the power of blood magic and lovers’ bonds to save herself and those she cares about most. But lost in the woods and with winter coming on, will Dasha be able to survive to the next sunrise, let alone until her visions return?
A transcendent high fantasy adventure that combines spiritual exploration and spicy romance against the backdrop of an evocative Finnish landscape, The Singing Shore II: Sky and Stone will appeal to fans of The Bear and the Nightingale, The Wolf and the Woodsman, and anyone who loves smart, subversive, female-centered fantasy.
This audiobook version contains wild wren song recorded at the studio location.

Get ready to enter a multiverse of Lovecraftian Horror and Steampunk adventure. Investigate the mysteries and explore strange new worlds.
In 1875, Inspector Ol'Barrow of Dover's borough police is still coming to terms with the advent of the radio dramas when he is confronted by a murder mystery. During their investigation, he and his colleague Bigsby come eye to eye with an assassin with otherworldly origins.
Spurred on by his sense of duty and a desire to redeem himself, inspector Ol'Barrow collaborates with a clandestine organization called the Association of Ishtar. They claim to be mere advisors who aid the authorities with the containment of anomalies known as Rifts. These are harmless gateways to other worlds, but also provide access to the many threats lurking inside the multiverse. Ol'Barrow's eyes are opened to a reality in which Napoleon used alien weapons to bombard England. Companies are developing out of this world technology. And worst of all, everyone takes the progress it created for granted.
Humanity is advancing into an increasingly technocratic future. Where will it end? As far as certain groups are concerned, biology is a dead end, and humanity needs to ascend.
    About the series
Created in the wake of the Napoleonic Wars, the Association of Ishtar is a clandestine organization of volunteers who have taken it upon themselves to explore the Multiverse...

When a military convoy is forced off its planned route by a treacherous landslide, Captain Elias Thorne and his exhausted soldiers stumble upon a mysterious valley village that does not appear on any map. The settlement—quaint, untouched by war, and eerily preserved—seems like a miracle after days of trudging through mud and rain.
    But the silence is wrong.
    The villagers are stranger still.
And none of them cast a shadow.
As the men accept the villagers' suspiciously warm hospitality, an unsettling truth unfolds. Their feast is not food. Their hosts are not human. And the villagers' smiles—polite, fixed, disturbingly hollow—hide a hunger older than the mountains themselves.
When the shadows of Thorne's soldiers begin tearing themselves free, whispering their guilt, clawing at the floorboards, and begging for release, the men realize too late that this is no sanctuary—it's a trap.
The village of Oakhaven feeds on darkness.
    On memories.
    On human burdens.
Now, with night closing in and the fire burning low, Thorne and his remaining conscious men must fight to survive as the shadowless villagers gather, mouths opening into endless voids. The fire is their only protection. Dawn may never come. And in this cursed valley, once a shadow is taken… the soul follows.
A gripping supernatural horror blending military suspense, psychological dread, and folklore terror, Haunting Shadows of the Forgotten Village pulls readers into a nightmare where even your own shadow cannot be trusted.
