With her spinning circle shattered by suspicion and her studio temporarily closed, Spinny must draft her way through the investigation. Assisted by her loyal spinning friends and the handsome sheep farmer tracking missing rare breeds, Spinny uncovers a scheme involving stolen fleeces, counterfeit exotic fibers, and a black market for heritage breed wool. From suspicious twist angles that reveal multiple spinners to fiber preparations that don't match the victim's technique, every spun yard tells a story. But when Spinny discovers the victim was systematically acquiring—through questionable means—every rare fleece in the region to control the luxury fiber market, she realizes the killer is protecting a farming legacy more precious than any hand-spun yarn.
