From suspicious wool crimp patterns that reveal cross-breeding to DNA markers that don't match the registered lineage, every fleece tells a story. But when Baa-bara discovers the victim was systematically replacing prize-winning bloodlines with ordinary stock to control the breeding market, she realizes the killer is protecting genetic integrity more valuable than any trophy.
