Assisted by her 4-H rabbit club and the handsome veterinary forensic specialist analyzing fiber evidence, Bunny uncovers a scheme involving rabbit identity swapping, fraudulent pedigree papers, and a sophisticated operation stealing premium breeding stock. From suspicious fiber lengths that reveal cross-breeding to DNA markers that don't match registration papers, every fluffy strand tells a story. But when Bunny discovers the victim was systematically disqualifying ethical breeders to eliminate competition for a commercial fur operation, she realizes the killer is protecting animal welfare more valuable than any championship ribbon.
