Sinossi

Imprisoned with the Pharaohs tells the story in the first-person perspective of an allegedly true experience of escape artist Harry Houdini. Set in 1910, in Egypt, Houdini finds himself kidnapped by a tour guide, who resembles an ancient pharaoh, and thrown down a deep hole near the Great Sphinx of Giza. While attempting to find his way out, he stumbles upon a gigantic ceremonial cavern and encounters the real-life deity that inspired the building of the Sphinx.

Urban Fantasy. Paranormal Mystery. Everyday People.
A flash of something in the pages caught my eye, and I stopped. Thumbing back through the pages again, slower this time, I found it. It was about an inch thickness in…Mom’s handwriting…pages of it.
When a woman linked to the supernatural, discovers her adoptive mother’s journal holds a cryptic mystery, she and her closest friends race to uncover a secret matriarchal society safeguarded by mystical unseen forces.
What if cancer wasn’t just an illness or evil sickness that took our loved ones? What if it’s something bigger—a sacrifice or choice to keep humanity safe—to keep the balance?
Ottawa, the capital of Canada, is considered the third cleanest city in the world and rated the second highest quality of living of any big city in the Americas, but unless you’re Canadian you probably wouldn’t know any of that stuff. And it’s all very nice and well, but boring as hell.... That’s what four unsuspecting girlfriends thought, until their good friend Lynn Westlake came home to visit, and they found themselves in the biggest mystery and adventure of their normal boring lives.
The Guard is the first book in the N. L. Westaway urban fantasy and paranormal mystery trilogy. If you appreciate brilliant urban fantasy or paranormal mysteries involving everyday people, you’ll love this entertaining three-part trilogy.
Note: It is recommended that you listen to the books in order.

The story of Walter Delapore, a descendant of the Poers (the similarity to the name Poe is not accidental), a family that inhabited the Exham Priory estate. It is said that the building was constructed on very ancient foundations predating the Roman conquest of England. Delapore moves into the restored mansion, changing his name to de la Poer. He is not welcomed in the area; his ancestors had a reputation as murderers, kidnappers, and sorcerers. Since moving into the building, de la Poer has heard strange noises within the walls, which drive his cats into a frenzy.

Across continents, cultures, and generations, ghost stories rise from the shadows in strikingly similar forms—cries in the river mist, footsteps in the bamboo, a hound that remembers the dead, a creature stalking livestock under the plains' moonlight.
World of the Unseen is a chilling collection that gathers twelve uncanny encounters from around the world, each told in vivid, first-person voices that feel whispered across a kitchen table at midnight.
From Japan's haunted bamboo groves to Mexico's weeping river spirit, from spectral hounds on the English moorlands to modern legends like the chupacabra, these stories blend folklore, lived testimony, cultural memory, and atmospheric horror.
This book also includes:Preface, introduction, and cultural context"Knowledge Pages" explaining regional spirit loreReading guidance and safety notesThemes, motifs, and cross-cultural patternsFirst-person accounts that feel startlingly real
Whether you read for folklore, fear, or curiosity, these tales remind us that the world keeps deeper memories than we think—and sometimes those memories walk.
