Attraction is measured not only by how a man appears, but also by his confidence and strength. Women tend to favor the cognitive aspect of attraction over the physical one when choosing a partner. Men are afraid to embrace their masculinity because they think it involves aggression, when that is incorrect, and they think acting aggressively is what attracts women. Women are attracted to men who can solve problems in more sophisticated ways rather than using violence.
Women do favor a muscular physical appearance over an unfit one, because it shows a man is healthy and hard-working, which are desirable traits. In addition to muscularity, working out has lots of benefits such as boosting your immune system and increasing bone density.
When choosing a hairstyle, pick one that looks good and that you feel good about. Short to medium hair is recommended, as long hair tends to require lots of grooming and makes you look feminine. Going bald in no way means that you are no longer attractive. Bald men are often seen as more masculine than men with hair, and they consistently are ranked higher in terms of attractiveness. Women also view having facial hair as intriguing and sexy. Facial hair is correlated with masculinity and maturity, as well as high levels of dominance and assertiveness. Having facial hair is the equivalent of a peacock fanning out its feathers to attract a mate.
According to a study published in the British Journal of Urology, penis sizes vary ever so slightly, aside from the extremely large and extremely small, which are exceptions to the rule. Women tend to favor an average size penis over a larger one.

A Caldecott Honor Winner and New York Times Bestseller! A determined Owl builds strength and confidence in this medieval picture book about the real mettle of a hero: wits, humor, and heart.  Since the day he hatched, Owl dreamed of becoming a real knight. He may not be the biggest or the strongest, but his sharp nocturnal instincts can help protect the castle, especially since many knights have recently gone missing. While holding guard during Knight Night Watch, Owl is faced with the ultimate trial—a frightening intruder. It’s a daunting duel by any measure. But what Owl lacks in size, he makes up for in good ideas.   Full of wordplay and optimism, this surprising display of bravery proves that cleverness (and friendship) can rule over brawn.

A moving middle grade debut about foster care, self-advocacy, and realizing that a found family is a real family.

It's the first week of middle school, and Ash (don't call her "Ashley") already has a class assignment: Make a family tree. But how can Ash make a family tree if she doesn't have a family? Ever since she was four years old, Ash has been in foster care, living with one so-called family after another. Now she's stuck with Gladys. And the only place Ash feels safe is in the branches of her favorite tree, drawing in her sketchbook, hidden from the view of Gladys's son Jordan.

As Jordan becomes harder to hide from, and more dangerous to be around, Ash isn't sure who she can trust. A new friend, an old friend, some teachers at school? Sometimes the hardest part of asking for help is knowing who to ask.

In My So-Called Family, Gia Gordon weaves a lyrical story about complicated family dynamics that's perfect for fans of Fish in a Tree and Counting by 7s.
