Sinossi

Gentlemen is a fluid and gripping combination of a coming-of-age modern tale and a study of human nature, psyche and self-discovery in the journey toward becoming a gentleman and a scholar. The year is 2013, in the post collegiate age of statistic student debt, Ferdinand Folk’s alter ego Frank finds refuge in the shadows of a dark and grim Los Angeles world of a lifestyle brimming with vice, degradation and blatant hypocrisy.He finds light in the moon filter and vignette effect of Instagram and an XM soundtrack of Cole Porter, well curating a facade and virtual identity that becomes his salvation in the upper-crust temptations of a Man of the Night profession.Through five years of his wild career, he soaks up knowledge and some bizarre perspectives from the men that call upon him, but soon finds himself at a globe-trotting crossroads, stoically going against the grain, yet unable to resist those millennial antics he struggles to avoid and which might just be his demise. This is a startling tale that hurtles toward an ironic and terrifying but inevitable finish.
