Summary

In today's noisy world, creating peaceful homes is essential, and Soundproof Wood Walls explores how wood can be a powerful tool for noise reduction. This book delves into the acoustic properties of wood, revealing how different types and construction techniques impact sound transmission. For example, the density and grain orientation of wood significantly affect its ability to absorb sound, challenging the reliance on synthetic materials. The book uniquely combines traditional wood construction knowledge with modern acoustic science.

It begins by explaining fundamental acoustic principles and moves through understanding wood's acoustic characteristics, practical construction techniques, and design principles for integrating wood into noise-reducing environments. By understanding STC ratings and strategically using layering, homeowners can create quieter, more comfortable living spaces. The book bridges architecture, engineering, and environmental psychology, providing a holistic understanding.

Humanity is under assault from pandemics but not for the reasons that the mainstream sources portray. This book examines the claims regarding alleged “contagious” disease outbreaks such as COVID-19 to shed more light on what they are, or perhaps more importantly, what they are not. The belief that germs from the natural environment (or a laboratory) are attacking us has led most of the population to go along with lockdowns, civil rights restrictions, unprecedented peacetime censorship and more vaccines. However, when the foundational science is exposed and it is understood how the cases are created, no “pandemic” looks the same ever again.
In line with our other content we dissect multiple aspects of what has been put forward as scientific evidence for germ theory, alleged “viruses,” diagnostic tests, and “treatments” whether they be drugs or vaccines. It is all too often a world of mythology with carefully constructed narratives designed to benefit the medico-pharmaceutical industry and other vested interests. Unfortunately, it pulls the public into a belief system that is not only counterproductive to health but frequently life shortening and sometimes deadly. We have endeavoured to illustrate this with famous case examples to demonstrate how the media promotes deception with fear-inducing sensationalised headlines that are often bereft of scientific evidence. Just as important is how the illusions are maintained and we share our own experiences of what happens when doctors speak out against the prevailing narrative. The Final Pandemic is a title that announces that the concept of contagious and death-dealing ‘germs’ is finished. Hopefully this helps people realise that there is no need to participate in these man-made “crises” ever again.
"...the evidence the authors have presented here is quite simply, irrefutable, however alarming that conclusion might be." - Prof. Tim Noakes

    Age of Deception - Cybersecurity...

At the heart of cybersecurity is a paradox: Cooperation enables conflict. In Age of Deception, Jon R. Lindsay shows how widespread trust in cyberspace enables espionage and subversion.
The dark arts have long been part of global politics, but digital systems expand their scope and scale. Yet success in secret statecraft depends on political context, not just sophisticated technology. Lindsay provides a general theory of intelligence performance—the analogue to military performance in battle—to explain why spies and hackers alike depend on clandestine organizations and vulnerable institutions.
Through cases spanning codebreaking at Bletchley Park during WWII to the weaponization of pagers by Israel in 2024, Lindsay reveals continuity and change in secret statecraft. Along the way he explains why popular assumptions about cyber warfare are profoundly misleading. Offense does not simply dominate defense, for example, because the same digital complexity that expands opportunities for deception also creates potential for self-deception and counter-deception. Provocative and persuasive, Age of Deception offers crucial insights into the future of secret statecraft in cyberspace and beyond.
