Sinossi

'Donald Trump Who' delivers a data-driven examination of the 45th U.S. President's journey from real estate mogul to political leader, focusing on verifiable achievements rather than partisan rhetoric. Through meticulous analysis of government documents, economic data, and official records, the book presents Trump's impact on American society across three key dimensions: economic policy, international relations, and the political landscape.

Beginning with Trump's successful business ventures in 1980s New York City, including the notable Wollman Rink renovation, the narrative progresses through his presidency, highlighting significant accomplishments such as historically low unemployment rates and the implementation of major tax reforms. The book pays particular attention to international achievements, including the groundbreaking Abraham Accords and the renegotiation of NAFTA into the USMCA, supporting each milestone with statistical evidence and expert analysis.

What sets this political biography apart is its commitment to documented results over personal narrative, making it valuable for readers seeking an objective understanding of Trump's legacy. The book maintains an analytical approach while connecting political science, economics, and international relations, demonstrating how Trump's business background influenced his governance style. This comprehensive examination serves both academic and professional audiences, offering practical insights into leadership strategies and policy implementation while allowing readers to form their own conclusions based on presented evidence.

Empowering stories from the frontlines of compassion.
Dr. Susan Partovi first experienced poverty medicine volunteering at a dump site in Tijuana during high school. There, she recognized the need for all people to have access to quality medical care. Over the years, she has worked in various facilities around Los Angeles County, incorporating her renegade method of going the extra mile for her patients. As Medical Director of Homeless Health Care Los Angeles, she works to provide a safety net of care for the underserved skid row community and surrounding neighborhoods.
Recognized internationally as a leader in street medicine, Dr. Partovi started documenting her patients' stories so that others could hear their voices. By addressing the practical and moral considerations when treating each patient, Dr. Partovi developed her philosophies about what it means to be a "good doctor." Along the way, she began to understand how her personal ethics evolved―from a challenging childhood and complicated relationships with her parents, through professional hurdles―often, she had to push against a system that doesn't always put the patient first.
Renegade MD: A Doctor's Stories from the Streets is a powerful and inspiring memoir by Dr. Susan Partovi, a renowned street doctor who has dedicated her life to treating the impoverished around the world and people experiencing homelessness on LA's skid row. Through her stories, Dr. Partovi takes us on a journey to the heart of the challenges faced by those living on the streets, and shines a light on her unwavering commitment to advocate for social justice and to provide compassionate care to some of the most vulnerable people in our society.

Mary Frances Butts was born on 13th December 1890 in Poole, Dorset.
Her early years were spent at Salterns, an 18th-century house overlooking Poole Harbour. Sadly in 1905 her father died, and she was sent for boarding at St Leonard's school for girls in St Andrews.
Her mother remarried and, from 1909, Mary studied at Westfield College in London, and here, first became aware of her bisexual feelings. She was sent down for organising a trip to Epsom races and only completed her degree in 1914 when she graduated from the London School of Economics. By then Mary had become an admirer of the occultist Aleister Crowley and she was given a co-authorship credit on his ‘Magick (Book 4)’.
In 1916, she began the diary which would now detail her future life and be a constant reference point for her observations and her absorbing experiences.
During World War I, she was doing social work for the London County Council in Hackney Wick, and involved in a lesbian relationship. Life changed after meeting the modernist poet, John Rodker and they married in 1918.
In 1921 she spent 3 months at Aleister Crowley's Abbey of Thelema in Sicily; she found the practices dreadful and also acquired a drug habit. Mary now spent time writing in Dorset, including her celebrated book of short stories ‘Speed the Plough’ which saw fully develop her unique Modernist prose style.
Europe now beckoned and several years were spent in Paris befriending many artists and writing further extraordinary stories.
She was continually sought after by literary magazines and also published several short story collections as books. Although a Modernist writer she worked in other genres but is essentially only known for her short stories. Mary was deeply committed to nature conservation and wrote several pamphlets attacking the growing pollution of the countryside.
In 1927, she divorced and the following year her novel ‘Armed with Madness’ was published. A further marriage followed in 1930 and time was spent attempting to settle in London and Newcastle before setting up home on the western tip of Cornwall. By 1934 the marriage had failed.
Mary Butts died on 5th March 1937, at the West Cornwall Hospital, Penzance, after an operation for a perforated gastric ulcer. She was 46.
