A fugitive from the Sprytes, one of the most dangerous supernatural cults on Earth, Betty has refashioned herself as a revealer of dark conspiracies and a killer of misogynous conspirators. On her crusade, she has successfully stayed off the radar for months. When the Sprytes close in, however, Betty may find herself entangled in a conspiracy too dark to escape.
Eve of Light is a dark metaphysical fantasy series chronicling the surreal events leading up to the Apocalypse--the Death of God. The setting is a contemporary, alternate Earth on the verge of a cataclysm that will warp space, time, and minds. The main narrative of those plotting and battling to save humanity is told in the Eve of Light series of novels. The short stories and novellas are simply flashes on the fringe--episodes told from the perspective of everyday men and women living in a world turned weird.

My aim is to kill him. His aim? Make me his.

I'm trapped on a harsh, snow-covered planet waiting to be hunted, with no way of escape. I know that the alien warrior chief with purple skin and a cutting tail is coming for me, but I've got no intention of letting him take me.

I'll fight him with hands and fists, knives and teeth. I'll fight the rising heat between us. I'll fight the ache in my chest where an empty hole beats, serving as a painful reminder that once, before his kind took from me, I had a heart.

It’s a heart that the warrior thinks is his.And unfortunately, he's unafraid to fight for what he wants.

Taken to Nobu is book 2 in the Xiveri Mates series! While it features a new couple with their own HEA, it is best enjoyed after book 1. Sensitive readers should be aware this book contains violent battles, epic steam and references the human heroine's past trauma (SA).

Having offered sanctuary to the soul of the man who stole her brother's body, Vree heads north to Shkoder with two kigh struggling to co-exist in a single body. Although the odds aren't in their favour, there's a chance, a small chance, the Bards can find Gyhard a body of his own without anyone else having to die. But Vree was an assassin trained to kill on command, Gyhard has chosen to kill again and again on a quest for immortality, and the Bards aren't certain which of them is the more dangerous. No one, from the guard on the Citadel gate to the King himself, wants them anywhere near the single Healer who can Sing the Fifth Kigh.

No one except Magda, the Healer, whose heritage has taught her that things are not always as they seem.

In the end, Bardic suspicion becomes the least of Vree's problems. The dead walk in the mountains of Shkoder, kigh confined in rotting corpses, and Gyhard's past returned to haunt them. Hunted by the Bards and the Healer's family, Vree, Gyhard and Magda head for the mountains to try and Sing Gyhard's past to rest. To make matters worse, Vree's brother has yet to forgive her for saving Gyhard's life and is determined to bring Gyhard—and therefore Vree—back to the Empire to pay the price for treason.
