Sinossi

From the little community of Morgan’s Bluff, located on the very banks of the Sabine River near Orange, Texas, to Israel, the land where our Lord Jesus Christ came into this world to redeem fallen mankind from their sinful condition. This is an amazing story of how God can use anyone He chooses to spread His Word. This book will bring laughter at the funny stories that took place in the fishing, hunting, boating, fast cars and student pranks that were done in my school years.
There are humorous accounts of shoplifters being caught and terrorized by store managers, as well as amazing accounts of how God provided time and time again for a simple ministry that has grown to a world-wide ministry, reaching billions with God’s Word.
You can read many recent real life testimonies of students who have suffered great persecution at the hands of the enemy and also be blessed to read how God has used this ministry to transform their lives through His Word. This book is my life story from the humble beginnings in Orange, Texas, to now, President Of The Bread Of Life International Bible Correspondence Institute. But even more than that, it is a testimony of how God can use anyone who is willing to allow Him to lead and direct their lives and trust in His ability to do so, and not their own abilities. To God be the glory how He continues to reach down to fallen man with His love through simple men and women who are not afraid to live by faith.

A Biblical View of Work in Light of the Gospel
For many people, their job is merely "the daily grind" needed to provide for family or pay the bills. Yet our work is a vital means for fulfilling God's purpose for our lives and displaying his grace to those around us. We bear God's image in our workplaces, experiencing his blessings and expressing his nature through our efforts, integrity, creativity, generosity, and excellence. No earthly chore is without the opportunity to observe his divine hand. No challenge in task or relationship is without opportunity to represent God's heart.
In this ebook, author and pastor Bryan Chapell shares this biblical perspective of vocation, explaining how God gives purpose to our work by making it an instrument of his grace to our own hearts, as well as a way of bringing his goodness and glory into our world. Chapell explains how we can worship God by our work, rising above drudgery, duty, or self-interest with the understanding that our jobs are unique callings for displaying God's character and care.  Our work is worship when we see the glory beyond the grind, the mission in the mundane, and the grace at work.

    - Ideal for Christians in the Workplace: Contains encouragement for those looking for purpose in their jobs
    - Biblically Grounded: Chapell teaches how the gospel blesses attitudes and responsibilities relating to success, creativity, money, integrity, leadership, and even sin in the workplace
    - Kingdom Minded: Explains vocation in light of the grace Christ provides to and through his people for blessing our world and bringing him glory

This book captures a journey marked by profound loss, boundless grace, surrender, and ultimate joy, all orchestrated by the guiding hand of God. Presented through a sincere compilation of narratives, stories, and poetry, Lanford invites readers into an inspiring exploration of his personal odyssey through the depths of grief following the passing of his wife of 42 years. Within these confessional, redemptive, and restorative writings lies a narrative of forgiveness, renewal, and the extravagant love of God.
Rather than a conventional guide on coping with grief, Lanford emphasizes to readers that this book aims to sensitize readers to God's relentless desire to love and pursue them through the darkest moments. Even those who have not experienced the loss of a spouse or a beloved can cultivate empathy and compassion for those navigating such spaces.
Lanford clarifies, "This isn't just a self-help manual; it's an exploration designed to stir the soul, encouraging contemplation of God and fostering an awareness that, in times of distress, God does not abandon us. His intention is to bring comfort and meet us precisely where we need Him the most."
When asked about the key takeaway for readers, Lanford expresses, "God epitomizes absolute love. He actively pursues us in our deepest grief and heartache, offering measured and sometimes overflowing mercy. He equips us with strength for each day and every ciucumstance."

America was founded on the concept of the innate and inalienable rights of humankind. Many Christians see an echo of the imago Dei—that every human being carries the image of God—within those ideals. Yet these rights were systemically withheld from the Black and enslaved residents of this country for centuries. Through it all, Black people have proclaimed the truth of their dignity and personhood in powerful and profound ways.

Crowned with Glory collects many of the writings of these men and women, both familiar and lesser-known, to shine a light on what has always been there: an enormous movement of Black Americans demanding the liberty they were promised and deserved. With moving and insightful reflections on these oft-forgotten or suppressed voices, author Jasmine L. Holmes offers a hopeful and encouraging testament to the power of unrelenting cries for justice that will strike a chord with anyone looking for a robust Christian history of resistance.

Some say the great mystery of how one can live in two worlds at once died with Thomas Hunter many years ago. Still others that the gateway to that greater reality was and is only the stuff of dreams.

They are wrong. In the small town of Eden, Utah, a blind girl named Rachelle Matthews is about to find out just how wrong.

When a procedure meant to restore Rachelle's sight goes awry, she begins to dream of another world so real that she wonders if Earth might only be a dream experienced when she falls asleep in that reality. Who is a simple blind girl to have such strange and fantastic dreams?

She's the prophesied one who must find and recover five ancient seals--in both worlds--before powerful enemies destroy her. If Rachelle succeeds in her quest, peace will reign. If she fails, both worlds will forever be locked in darkness.
