   This narrative is about a young woman, Sherry; she's a smart and crisp advertising supervisor employed by Silverstone Advertising Agency. She became captivated by a computer hologram while napping at her desk at work. When at first, she brushed the experience off as a revelation of her imagination, then later realized that the mystical character may not be out of her imagination at all. After months of communicating with the mysterious hologram, it was evident that her behavior changed; and consequently, these changes were revealed by her absences from work. The employees became suspicious of her secretiveness and strange behavior and of her unusual outburst. Sherry had that far-away look in her eyes. Her well-kept secret started to affect her personal relationships. She avoided her fiancé’ While communicating with the hologram his vernacular suddenly changed in the rapidity of articulation with extreme preciseness revealing that this entity was not of this earth. The hologram answered many of Sherry’s questions. He explained that she was chosen to be visited by him. “An entity from another Universe.” Then explained his universal explanation of, Religion, Science, Parallel Universe, Quantum Physics, Mental Telepathy, and Mind Transference, revealing the reality of Life on other planets. Sherry learned the ambiguity of the awarded hologram’s “Privilege Art.”  After months of training and communicating with the hologram it was now time for her astral travel with the enigmatic entity. 
  The reader may wonder if Sherry was held captive; or was captivated by the... “Hologram Experience.”

  The alien shapeshifters called the Chitauri were defeated by the Ultimates in a decisive battle, but suspicious activity leads the Ultimates to believe that not all of the aliens were destroyed in that cataclysmic attack. Stark Industries has developed means of quickly and easily detecting Chitauri DNA, but the federal government refuses to adopt the technology, claiming that if the tech is widely available, the Chitauri will find a way to fool it. Frustrated by the government’s seeming unwillingness to protect its own people, Captain America takes matters into his own hands, leaking the technology so that it can be manufactured and distributed throughout the country. His radical actions sow discord among the Ultimates and, within the highest levels of government, raise a troubling question: Could disunity and chaos be playing right into the Chitauri's hands? Meanwhile, Hank Pym, who desperately wants back on the Ultimates team, has been feverishly experimenting with his ants in the hopes of finding his own alternate method of detecting the Chitauri. When he appears to be successful, it could spell doom for the alien menace—but only if the Ultimates can finally set aside their differences long enough to recognize their true enemy.

  You have to wonder what kind of pets cartoonist Darby Conley had as a child.  If they were anything like Bucky Katt and Satchel Pooch. . . well, life in the Conley house must have been interesting to say the least.  The wacky triumvirate of Bucky, Satchel, and Rob are back in this Get Fuzzy collection,Rob Wilco is the mild-mannered ad executive caretaker of Bucky and Satchel.  Satchel is a sweet and naive shar-pei-yellow-Lab cross, while Bucky is a Siamese with "cat-titude" to spare.  Bucky and Satchel get along like, well, like cats and dogs. Like a beleaguered parent, Rob constantly must thwart Bucky's schemes and protect the unsuspecting Satchel.  His pets' mischief continually disrupts his attempts to meet women.  You try explaining to your date why your cat thinks he's a gangsta rapper and your dog is filming his "crib" for MTV.  Would anyone live with humans who behaved like this?Bitingly funny with a wry sense of the absurdity of life with pets, Get Fuzzy appeals to everyone who has ever lived in a mixed-species household.
