Sinossi

This is the world we live in full of lies and conspiracies, nothing is what it seems, after reading papering over the cracks the reader can now see through the thin badly manufactured wallpaper that covers over the real truth. The story did not end there because if the reader decides to join in and demand the truth to be shown, the worlds governments would not be pleased, your words would be censored, your posts on your social media deleted and then if you insist on raising you voice and raising your fist, then it would be time to meet the Japper Napper! This book continues with the themes of the poet Darren Hobson, who asks the questions and insists the reader should be aware of what is really happening in this world, it is time for all of us to demand the truth only that way we can stand together united and face and defeat the Japper Napper.

The mythology of the Incas is a fascinating tapestry of gods, legends, and rituals that shaped the spiritual and cultural identity of one of the most powerful civilizations in the Americas. Unlike written traditions found in other ancient cultures, Incan mythology was passed down orally, with each generation preserving and refining the stories that explained the origins of the world, the forces of nature, and the role of human beings in the cosmos. These myths were deeply intertwined with the daily lives of the Inca people, influencing everything from their agricultural practices to their political structures.

At the heart of Incan mythology was a complex belief system that divided the universe into three realms: Hanan Pacha, the upper world of the gods; Kay Pacha, the earthly realm of humans; and Uku Pacha, the underworld where spirits and ancestors resided. These realms were connected by sacred mountains, rivers, and celestial bodies, all of which were considered divine. The gods of the Incan pantheon, led by Viracocha, the supreme creator, played a central role in shaping the world and maintaining balance within these realms. Inti, the sun god, was revered as the divine ancestor of the ruling class, while Pachamama, the earth goddess, was honored for providing sustenance and fertility.

Rituals and ceremonies were essential to maintaining harmony between the natural and supernatural worlds. The Inca performed elaborate festivals, such as Inti Raymi, the Festival of the Sun, to honor their deities and ensure the continuation of prosperity. Priests and oracles played a crucial role in interpreting the will of the gods, often conducting sacrifices—both animal and human—as acts of devotion and appeasement. Sacred sites, including Coricancha in Cusco and Machu Picchu, served as centers of worship where offerings were made to the gods.

    The American Transportation...

In the first half of the nineteenth century, transportation in the United States underwent an extraordinary transformation. In The American Transportation Revolution, Aaron W. Marrs explores the cultural influence of steamboats and railroads, which fascinated Americans across the country.

Demonstrating the wide cultural reach of steam transit, Marrs draws from an eclectic set of sources, including children's books, comic almanacs, musical works, sermons, etiquette guides, cartoons, and employee rulebooks. This rich tapestry of cultural production helped "naturalize" steam technology for Americans before they ever encountered steam transit in person. Before ever seeing a railroad, Americans could read a novel that took place on a railroad, see an image of a train on currency, or purchase piano music imitating a train. These cultural artifacts made these new forms of transport feel familiar and natural.

Marrs examines how cultural norms about travel emerged through the prescriptions of etiquette authors and the actions of travelers themselves, how enslaved people made innovative use of transportation networks to escape from slavery, and much more. Marrs convincingly demonstrates steam transportation's broad cultural impact on the United States, and how Americans, in turn, imprinted their own meaning on this new technology.

    MARILYN MONROE
THE ULTIMATE TRIVIA AND CURIOUS FACTS COLLECTION

    CREATED BY TRIVIA HUB

Marilyn Monroe, born Norma Jeane Mortenson, was an American actress and model, becoming a 1950s sex symbol known for her "blonde bombshell" persona. Her early life was spent in foster homes and an orphanage. She began a successful modeling career before transitioning into acting, landing roles in comedies and dramas. Monroe's personal life, including marriages to Joe DiMaggio and Arthur Miller, was heavily publicized. She struggled with the studio system, seeking roles that showcased more than her sex appeal. Her death at 36 from a barbiturate overdose was ruled a probable suicide. Monroe remains a pop culture icon, though her acting abilities are debated.

    CURIOUS FACT SAMPLES:

Marilyn Monroe's birth name was Norma Jeane Mortenson, and she was born on June 1, 1926, in Los Angeles, California. She spent much of her childhood in foster homes and an orphanage.

Monroe's mother, Gladys Pearl Baker, had a history of mental health issues and was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, which resulted in Monroe becoming a ward of the state. Monroe was not told that she had a sister until she was 12 years old.

At the age of 16, Monroe married James Dougherty to avoid returning to an orphanage, and she dropped out of high school to become a housewife. Though the marriage was initially described as happy, Monroe later said she was "dying of boredom".

During World War II, Monroe worked in a factory and began a successful pin-up modeling career, which led to film contracts. A photographer from the First Motion Picture Unit is who she met at the factory.
