Sinossi

Branwen has one rule: don't draw attention, don't get attached.Hidden in San Francisco as a human girl, daughter of the Seelie Queen and Goblyn King is supposed to keep her head down, pass her classes, and pretend the sentient fire in her chest isn't counting her heartbeats. The Wayfairer-an ancient talisman-barely keeps BlackFyre leashed. One mistake, one slip, and the thing inside her won't just burn her enemies. It will burn everything. Then there's Daphne: loud, brilliant, impossible to ignore. The first real friend Branwen's had in centuries. Maybe the first person worth breaking rules for.The night assassins crash through Daphne's apartment window, everything shatters. In one desperate act, Branwen unleashes the BlackFyre to save Daphne and her mom, obliterating their attackers-and splintering the Wayfairer into nine shards scattered across the mortal city, the Seelie Roads, and the starving Goblyn realm. On the run, Branwen, Daphne, and Elaine take refuge in a warded house on San Francisco's fog-soaked hill, under the protection of Bram, the battle-scarred knight who's been hiding Branwen her whole life. They don't stay hidden for long. The Goblyn Princess-Branwen's half-sister-has unleashed her Handmaidens, and she wants her lost heir, her stolen fire, and every last shard. To keep the people she loves alive, Branwen has to hunt down the shattered Wayfairer before the Princess does-starting with a deadly descent into the Bay's drowned wrecks to claim the Aventurine shard. Every piece she recovers makes her stronger¿and pulls her closer to the BlackFyre's voice and the sister who stalks her through dreams and cracks in the city's bones. As the noose tightens, Branwen is running out of choices. Stay small and watch Daphne die. Let the fire loose and risk becoming the monster the Courts already believe she is. Or find a way to be something impossible: a girl who can hold the end of the world in her hands and still choose who she burns for.In a city of fog, blood, and broken crowns, the first shard has already woken. The others won't sleep forever.

The veil between life and death grows thin once more. Timeless Terrors: Volume Two gathers six haunting masterworks of classic and Gothic horror, each a descent into the strange, the spectral, and the doomed. Step into worlds where music can hold back madness, where fate is written in heat and shadow, and where no mask can hide from death itself.
Witness the oppressive dread of August Heat, the dark justice of The Cats of Ulthar, the haunted sorrow of The Boarded Window, and the otherworldly melodies of The Music of Erich Zann. Journey onward to The Tomb, where obsession crosses the threshold of mortality, and end beneath the crimson glow of The Masque of the Red Death, Poe’s chilling vision of plague and retribution.
    This volume includes:
August Heat, The Cats of Ulthar, The Boarded Window, The Music of Erich Zann, The Tomb, and The Masque of the Red Death.
Through the voice of horror author Jonathan Dunne, these timeless stories rise again from the crypt of literature’s darkest imagination. Immerse yourself in tales that echo through eternity — where every silence hides a secret, and every breath may be your last.

Five fantastical tales from the mind of H. P. Lovecraft that center around a theme of illicit substances: some used to transcend the veil of reality, some used to keep one's sanity in check. All of the stories are quite psychedelic and unreal, quite mystical, and quite frightening. So, turn off the lights, get lit, and come with us on this long strange trip. Stories include "Azathoth", "Dagon", "Ex Oblivione", "Celephais", and "Hypnos".
Howard Phillips Lovecraft was an American writer of weird, science, fantasy, and horror fiction. He is best known for his creation of the Cthulhu Mythos. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Lovecraft spent most of his life in New England. Lovecraft's literary corpus is based around the idea of cosmicism, which was simultaneously his personal philosophy and the main theme of his fiction. Cosmicism posits that humanity is an insignificant part of the cosmos, and could be swept away at any moment. He incorporated fantasy and science fiction elements into his stories, representing the perceived fragility of anthropocentrism. This was tied to his ambivalent views on knowledge. His works were largely set in a fictionalized version of New England. Civilizational decline also plays a major role in his works, as he believed that the West was in decline during his lifetime.

The Hypnotist and the Cursed Shadow
A chilling psychological thriller that will haunt you long after the final page.
They thought the nightmare was over. They were wrong.
When FBI agent Elliot Graves closes the case of the infamous Hypnotist—a mysterious manipulator believed to be behind a series of horrific crimes across continents—he believes justice has finally been served. But when a new wave of deaths emerges, each more twisted and unexplainable than the last, Graves is forced to confront an impossible truth: the Hypnotist never left.
Across countries and cultures, victims are found with the same eerie clues—blank stares, haunting smiles, and one cryptic symbol that ties them all together. As Graves and brilliant profiler Sophy Collins dig deeper, they uncover a sinister force more intelligent, more patient, and more dangerous than anything they’ve faced before.
With whispers of mind control, cult-like programming, and a haunting melody that triggers unspeakable acts, The Hypnotist and the Cursed Shadow is a pulse-pounding journey into the darkest corners of human psychology.
Perfect for fans of Stephen King, Alex Michaelides, and John Marrs, this gripping thriller will keep you turning pages late into the night.
Can you trust your mind… if someone else is holding the strings?
