Introduction to the 100 Somethings Language Learning Series

Welcome to a fresh approach to language learning! This series helps you master a new language (Spanish) by exploring topics that spark your interest, like Ancient Civilizations. Each book focuses on a theme—art, science, history, and more—and presents 100 carefully chosen facts in both English and the target language.

Here’s how it works: Each fact is first shown in the target language for you to interpret. On the next page, the fact appears in English, then repeated in the target language to help clarify unfamiliar terms. This concise, repetitive format aids memorization without extra fluff. The second half reverses the order—English, target language, then English—challenging you to translate both ways and master the content.

    Benefits include:

    - Concise Learning: Simple, one-sentence facts make every word meaningful and easy to remember.

    - Reinforcement: Alternating languages strengthens vocabulary and grammar naturally, bridging both languages through practice.

    - Contextual Engagement: Learning vocabulary tied to topics you love keeps the process dynamic and memorable.

    - Dual Knowledge: As you learn the language, you also deepen your understanding of fascinating subjects.

Designed for learners who value clear, focused information, this series ensures an effective and enjoyable educational experience. Whether a beginner or advancing your skills, embark on this journey of 100 facts, letting your passions drive your language mastery!

Thank you for your interest in the audiocourse Russian for pre-intermediate_Part 01 by Audioacademyeu. The course is deigned for slightly advanced learners who have already studied Russian for one or two years and have mastered the basics. The course is based on contextual learning, which means that you will not only learn words, but also sentences in which you can use the words you have learned. Because of its size, the course is divided into two parts. You are now reading the introduction to the first part. In total, you will find 3000 words and practice sentences in this course. What is the best way to work with the course? Choose the lesson you want to start with. Each lesson contains six tracks. First, familiarize yourself with the actual vocabulary (tracks 1 and 2). In order to get a better grip over the new expressions in Russian, in track one you hear the Russian word twice. Next, you have a word followed by a contextual sentence, again in both translation options (tracks 3 and 4). Then you move on to complete sentences (tracks 5 and 6). ). Again, in track 5, you will hear the sentence in Russian twice Once you have mastered translating sentences from English into Russian (lesson 6) in the time gap before the English translation, you have won. The words alone will help you in understanding the meaning, but using the mastered complete sentences will help you communicate much better. There is a script to this course available for free download at www.audioacademyeu.eu which will make your activities with the course much more effective. In its introduction, you will find a learning guide along with helpful tips on how to make the lessons more effective and a lesson plan for you to record your learning progress. The script is divided thematically into three parts. In the first part you will find a written version of the audio tracks you will listen to. In the second part you will find the writing tests. For each lesson there is one test of vocabulary and one test of sentences. The key to both tests is available right after the tests too In the third part of the script you will find double-sided flashcards that you can cut out with scissors and practice even when you can't or don't want to listen. The course is narrated by native speakers - Jeff Short in English and Anna Makarenko and alexander Podolkhov in Russian.Lesson 001 Activities 01Lesson 002 Activities 02Lesson 003 LivingLesson 004 Travelling 01Lesson 005 Travelling 02Lesson 006 DayLesson 007 FoodLesson 008 Communication 1Lesson 009 Communication 2Lesson 010 Communication 3Lesson 011 City

At once strange and familiar, bearer of a narrative and initiator of a relationship, the theatrical object has a status in its own right within the performance, and constantly encourages the actor to reassess the quality of his relationship with his immediate environment. This book proposes to turn our attention to a specific type of object: the “technical” object, i.e. the technological apparatus, now digital, as it is put into play on contemporary theatrical stages. More than an exhaustive panorama, L'Objet technique en scène attempts to formulate several questions about the possibilities opened up by these new kinds of objects, through a number of case studies (Marina Bollaín, Simon McBurney, Rabih Mroué, Heiner Goebbels, Dries Verhoeven, Robert Lepage, Agnès de Cayeux, Christiane Jatahy...) and interviews with artists whose production bears witness to an interest in this technical object.
