Thank you for your interest in the Russian for Beginners - an audiocourse by Audioacademyeu. The course is designed for absolute and "false" beginners. So if you started learning Russian some time ago and now want to brush up on the basics, this is the right audiocourse for you.The course is based on contextual learning, which means that you will not only learn words, but also sentences in which you can use the words you have learned. In this course you will find a total of 2,500 vocabulary words and practice sentences. What is the best way to work with the course? Choose the lesson you want to start with. Each lesson contains six tracks. First, familiarize yourself with the actual vocabulary (tracks 1 and 2). In order to get a better grip over the new expressions in Russian, in track one you hear the Russian word twice.Next, you have a word followed by a contextual sentence, again in both translation options (tracks 3 and 4). Then you move on to complete sentences (tracks 5 and 6). ). Again, in track 5, you will hear the sentence in Russian twice. Once you have mastered translating sentences from English into Russian (lesson 6) in the time gap before the english translation, you have won. The words alone will help you in understanding the meaning, but using the mastered complete sentences will help you communicate much better. There is a script to this course available for free download at www.audioacademyeu.eu which will make your activities with the course much more effective. In its introduction, you will find a learning guide along with helpful tips on how to make the lessons more effective and a lesson plan for you to record your learning progress. The script is divided thematically into three parts. In the first part you will find a written version of the audio tracks you will listen to. In the second part you will find the writing tests. For each lesson there is one test of vocabulary and one test of sentences. The key to both tests is available right after the tests too In the third part of the script you will find double-sided flashcards that you can cut out with scissors and practice even when you can't or don't want to listen. The course is narrated by native speakers - Jeff Short in English and Anna 'Makarenko and Alexander Podolkhov in Russian.Lesson 001 LivingLesson 002 TravellingLesson 003 TimeLesson 004 NumbersLesson 005 Hotel, restaurantLesson 006_FoodLesson 007 Communication 1Lesson 008 Communication2Lesson 009 CityLesson 010 ShoppingLesson 011 GreetingsLesson 012 Work 01Lesson 013 Work 02Lesson 014 NatureLesson 015 FamilyLesson 016 CommunityLesson 017 CharacteristicsLesson 018 LeisureLesson 019 Phrases

In this charming 1877 book of grammar instruction for children, we are introduced to the nine parts of speech and learn about the rules that govern them in Grammar-Land.
"Judge Grammar is far mightier than any Fairy Queen, for he rules over real kings and queens down here in Matter-of-fact-land. Our kings and queens have all to obey Judge Grammar’s laws, or else they would talk what is called bad grammar; and then, even their own subjects would laugh at them, and would say: “Poor things!
They are funny fellows, these nine Parts-of-Speech. You will find out by-and-by which you like best amongst them all. There is rich Mr. Noun, and his useful friend Pronoun; little ragged Article, and talkative Adjective; busy Dr. Verb, and Adverb; perky Preposition, convenient Conjunction, and that tiresome Interjection, the oddest of them all."

A juzʼ (literally meaning "part") is one of thirty parts of varying lengths into which the Quran is divided. Division into juz has no relevance to the meaning of the Quran and anyone can start reading from anywhere in the Quran. During medieval times, when it was too costly for most Muslims to purchase a manuscript, copies of the Quran were kept in mosques and made accessible to people; these copies frequently took the form of a series of thirty parts (juz').

Some use these divisions to facilitate recitation of the Quran in a month—such as during Ramadan, when the entire Quran is recited in the Tarawih prayers, usually one juz a night. The most commonly memorized juz is juzʾ amma, which is the 30th juz and contains chapters (sura) 78 through 114, most of the shortest chapters of the Quran. Juzʾ amma is named after the 1st word of the 30th chapter (chapter 78).
