Sinossi

Lucifer, once the most radiant of all angels, remembers a time when heaven was filled with music, laughter, and love—a time when he walked beside God as a beloved son. But curiosity leads him down a forbidden path: the contemplation of the absence of goodness. Fascinated by the concept of evil, Lucifer begins experimenting with what he calls "absences"—absence of praise, absence of humility, absence of love—and discovers rebellion growing in his heart. As hatred and pride take root, Lucifer persuades a third of heaven's angels to follow him in a bold uprising. But the rebellion fails catastrophically. Cast out of heaven, Lucifer becomes Satan, ruler of a kingdom of regret. Tormented by memories of the love he once shared with God, he tries to bury his longing beneath cruelty, temptation, and mockery. On Earth, a humble pastor named Elijah Green becomes Lucifer's next target. Elijah's ministry has been converting Satanists back to Christ, humiliating Lucifer before his own demons. In a moment of vicious revenge, Lucifer kidnaps and murders Elijah's daughter—yet the child's final act is not fear, but forgiveness. Her dying words haunt Lucifer relentlessly: "I will pray for you."As Elijah collapses in grief and heaven moves to comfort him, Lucifer unexpectedly finds himself reliving memories of the Trinity—memories of the Father who named him, the Son who laughed with him, the Holy Spirit who inspired his songs. The more he tries to hate, the more guilt and longing gnaw at him. Even his own demons begin to sense something changing within their master. Then comes the moment that shatters him: Jesus calls him by his true name—Lucifer—and leads him to meet the child he killed. Standing before her radiant and restored, Lucifer is forced to confront a truth he had long denied: that God still loves him… even now.Moved by the impossible hope revealed in the Book of Jonah, Lucifer breaks. The demons gather around their weeping master as he confesses his guilt and whispers a prayer he never dreamed he could speak again."God, forgive me."Light returns. Evil shatters. And the fallen Morning Star rises again—not as Satan the Accuser, but as Lucifer, the Light-Bearer restored.

"Pickman's Model" is a short story by H. P. Lovecraft, written in September 1926 and first published in the October 1927 issue of Weird Tales. It was adapted for television in a 1971 episode of the Night Gallery anthology series, starring Bradford Dillman. The story revolves around a Bostonian painter named Richard Upton Pickman who creates horrifying images. His works are brilliantly executed, but so graphic that they result in the revocation of his membership in the Boston Art Club and he is shunned by his fellow artists. The narrator is a friend of Pickman, who, after the artist's mysterious disappearance, relates to another acquaintance how he was taken on a tour of Pickman's personal gallery, hidden away in a run-down backwater slum of the city. As the two delved deeper into Pickman's mind and art, the rooms seemed to grow ever more evil and the paintings ever more horrific, ending with a final enormous painting of an unearthly, red-eyed and vaguely canine humanoid balefully chewing on a human victim. A noise sent Pickman running outside the room with a gun while the narrator reached out to unfold what looked like a small piece of rolled paper attached to the monstrous painting. The narrator heard some shots and Pickman walked back in with the smoking gun, telling a story of shooting some rats, and the two men departed. Afterwards the narrator realized that he had nervously grabbed and put the rolled paper in his pocket when the shots were fired. He unrolled the paper to reveal that it is a photograph not of the background of the painting, but of the subject. Pickman drew his inspirations not from a diseased imagination, but from monsters that were very much real.
