  The Hanuman Chalisa is a Vedic devotional hymn (stotra) in praise of Hanuman authored by the poet sage Tulsi Das. The word "ch?l?s?" means the number forty in Sanskrit, as the Hanuman Chalisa has forty verses. Lord Hanuman is a great devotee of Sri Ram and one of the central characters in the epic, Ramayan. Hanuman is also an incarnation of Shiva. The qualities of Hanuman - his strength, courage, wisdom, celibacy, devotion to Lord Ram, and the many names by which he is known are all in the Hanuman Chalisa. Devotional recitation of this sacred prayer is done by millions every day. 
   
  Hanumanji is the greatest devotee of Sri Ram and an incarnation of the mighty Lord Shiva. He is therefore the epitome of ultimate devotion manifested with its full glory unchallenged in all times and places. By the power of his devotion to Sita Ram, he easily achieved supreme status as the perfect devotee and servitor. 
   
  Lord Hanuman is the eternal link between all devotees and Ram whom he serves, inspires, and protects. By honoring Hanuman one is blessed with all kinds of siddhis including power, valor, prosperity, and devotion. 
   
  Reciting or hearing the Hanuman Chalisa infuses one with unlimited energy and prana. This sacred mantra also increases a person's resilience and they emerge victorious in every challenging situation.

  The legend of Atlantis has fascinated historians, philosophers, and adventurers for centuries. First described by the ancient Greek philosopher Plato, Atlantis was said to be a powerful and advanced civilization that mysteriously vanished beneath the sea. Despite being written over 2,000 years ago, Plato’s account continues to inspire countless theories, books, and even modern expeditions in search of this lost world. But was Atlantis ever real, or was it simply a metaphor for human folly? Understanding the origins of this myth is crucial to separating historical possibility from pure fantasy.  
    
  Plato’s dialogues, Timaeus* and *Critias, provide the earliest known description of Atlantis. According to him, the island was a technologically superior and wealthy society that existed around 9,000 years before his time. It was said to be located beyond the "Pillars of Hercules," now known as the Strait of Gibraltar. However, due to the moral corruption of its people, the gods allegedly punished Atlantis by submerging it beneath the waves. This dramatic tale has led to endless speculation about whether Plato based it on real events or simply crafted it as an allegory about the dangers of hubris and imperial overreach.  
    
  Interestingly, Atlantis is not the only story of a lost civilization. Cultures around the world have myths of great lands that disappeared under the ocean. In Hindu mythology, the ancient city of Dwarka was said to have been swallowed by the sea. The biblical tale of the Great Flood and even the legends of Lemuria and Mu suggest a shared human fascination with lost worlds. Some researchers argue that these stories could be echoes of real historical disasters, such as the sudden sinking of landmasses due to earthquakes, tsunamis, or rising sea levels. Could Atlantis be another version of these global flood myths?

  Kierkegaard’s intellectual journey began at the University of Copenhagen, where he studied theology and philosophy. He was deeply influenced by the works of philosophers such as Immanuel Kant and Friedrich Hegel, yet he sought to diverge from the systematic and rational approaches of these thinkers. Instead, he focused on the subjective aspects of human experience, emphasizing personal choice, individual responsibility, and the need for authentic existence. Kierkegaard believed that philosophy should not merely be an abstract pursuit but should directly address the real, lived experiences of individuals. 
  One of Kierkegaard's most significant contributions to philosophy was his critique of the established norms of society and religion. He believed that individuals often live in a state of "inauthenticity," blindly following social conventions and doctrines without truly reflecting on their own beliefs. For Kierkegaard, true existence could only be achieved through the individual’s leap of faith—an existential act that transcends reason and embraces the paradoxical nature of human life.
