No boyfriend, no career, no f**ks given.

Thieves have broken into the Federal Reserve and made off with millions in gold. The catch? They were dressed like leprechauns, and by all accounts, used magic to do it.

Cue up a fresh case for Sergeant Chloe Mayfield, but if she thought the last one was fraught with danger, she’s going to have to redefine her terminology. If it were not bad enough that she has to negotiate rogue gunmen, sword-wielding mercenaries, and a famous monster hunter, she has enemies within Boston PD to contend with, at least one of whom thinks their life would be easier if she were dead.

Worse yet, the vicious leprechauns she must investigate are determined to keep their newfound gold, no matter who gets in their way. Not out of greed, but because they have something far more sinister planned, and the gold heist was just the first step.

Chloe doesn’t know it yet, but the fate of the city and its residents are on the line. If she doesn’t figure things out in time, the results could be catastrophic.

Animal Terror - A Short Story...

The human race prides itself on being the most organised of animals. We manage the fate of all other species. All other animals bow to our control or suffer. In diminishing numbers we allow some to live in the wild but in increasing numbers we domesticate them and whether they become part of the family, a best friend or wonderfully decorative accessory we take their compliance for granted. Such a shame then when these creatures take umbrage and prepare their revenge on us they do so in ways designed to show that when the tables turn ‘mercy’ is just a word that we humans plead for, expect, but, of course, is always denied.

SONGS IN THEY KEY OF DEATH, a collection of poetic horror, by JG Faherty
"Songs in the Key of Death is a collection of edgy, stirring poems from the author of such well-known books as Ragman and The Wakening. I was delighted to learn that JG Faherty is expanding his horizons into poetry, and the result is a fascinating compilation of dark enchantments. Highly recommended!" —Jeani Rector, Editor of The Horror Zine
"I love the way JG Faherty's extraordinary poetry collection plays with language, form, and emotion. These pieces are by turns frightening, melancholy, disturbing, smart, and darkly witty. Songs in the Key of Death is a hit!" —Lisa Morton, six-time Bram Stoker Award® winner
"I really enjoyed this collection. The poems are philosophical and eerie, sometimes brutal and disturbing, with a lot of sharp edges and concise choices of language and imagery." —Erinn Kemper, horror and weird fiction author whose stories have appeared in Tor.com, Black Static, Chiral Mad, Prism, Cemetery Dance Magazine, Dark Discoveries, and other markets
