Sinossi

Make no doubt about that.... Leadership isn't reserved for a chosen few. All of God's children were created to be leaders. After accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior, we are called to lead others in our sphere of influence in some capacity. "For we are God's masterpiece," Ephesians 2:10 says. He has resurrected us in Christ Jesus to enable us to accomplish the beautiful things he had planned for us long ago."

We are called to govern by godly principles as representatives of the Kingdom of God. Personal achievement, a desire for financial prosperity, or a desire for power are not the foundations of godly leadership. As stated in God's Word, godly leadership is about influencing people we lead for good. "Do not be mistaken, you are called to be a leader," I always remind my grandchildren. You will either have a positive or negative impact on others. Make the decision to be a leader for the greater good!"

Serving others in a way that glorifies Jesus Christ is what godly leadership is all about. "A good leader motivates, doesn't mislead, and doesn't exploit," reads Proverbs 16:10 in the Message version.

Leadership is frequently mentioned in the Bible. "Love and truth make a good leader," Proverbs 20:28 says, "and sound leadership is built on loving integrity." To put it another way, love runs through all of the leadership characteristics. Why? Because God is love, and God said that the greatest commandment is to love one another. As a result, love must be an integral element of our character as God's children and the way we lead.

"If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging," says Romans 12:8. If it's about giving, go all out. Take the duty seriously if God has given you the power to lead. And if you have a gift for showing others kindness, use it." As a result, we must take our leadership job seriously, be encouraging and generous, and do everything with joy.

God has established a standard for leadership and equips us to meet it. So, please allow me to share with you seven biblical cornerstones of good leadership.

What Are Christians For? - Life...

What does a Christian political witness look like in our day?

Politics ought to be defined by fidelity to the common good of all the members of society. But our modern Western politics are defined by a determination to bend the natural world and human life to its own political and economic ends. This wholesale rejection of the natural order is behind the dominant revolutions in our history, and defines our experience in Western society today—our racialized hierarchy, modern industry, and the sexual revolution.

In What Are Christians For?, Jake Meador lays out a proposal for a Christian politics rooted in the givenness and goodness of the created world. He is uninterested in the cultural wars that have so often characterized American Christianity. Instead, he casts a vision for an ordered society that rejects the late modern revolution at every turn and is rooted in the natural law tradition and the great Protestant confessions. Here is a political approach that is antiracist, anticapitalist, and profoundly pro-life. A truly Christian political witness, Meador argues, must attend closely to the natural world and renounce the metallic fantasies that have poisoned common life in America life for too long.

    Saint Thomas and the Forbidden...

In James Matthew Wilson’s fourth full-length collection of poems, the writer joins the great saint and theologian Thomas Aquinas to pause before “the thought of earthly sorrows” and to pray for “such a world that had so much to say.” These poems stand in wonder before the tumult and beauty of created things and the capacity of the soul to rise above it. We move from encounters with the world as revelation, mystery, and promise, to great scenes of sin and fracture such as the bombing of Dresden, the execution of the Roman philosopher Cicero, and scandals in the Church. The volume begins with the prospects for an unborn child soon to enter our stormy world and concludes with a “Farewell” to the place, home, and setting of many of these poems. Saint Thomas and the Forbidden Birds is a story and pilgrimage through the troubles of our age and beyond them to the reason for our hope, “for all things turn about the love of God.”

The seminal role of the Anunnaki in shaping human civilization is unveiled, revealing the mystical roots of esoteric knowledge and its impact on secret societies and the evolution of consciousness. The Anunnaki—one of the most enigmatic groups in history—played a heavy role in early human civilization. But where did they come from, and who were they?In Anunnaki Revelation, author Heather Lynn, PhD, shares evidence that the Anunnaki’s influence extends beyond the realms of mythology and religion, shaping the very foundations of our understanding of reality, consciousness, and the nature of the self. By exploring the connections between the Anunnaki, shamanic practices, psychedelic experiences, and modern pursuits such as artificial intelligence and transhumanism, Anunnaki Revelation aims to trace the origins and trajectory of the transformative impact these gods had on the human experience.Who were the Anunnaki? Were they benevolent guides or malevolent manipulators, and what will the answer mean for our understanding of the nature of reality? Was the Anunnaki’s wisdom transmitted to early civilizations, then preserved and passed down through secret societies and occult practices? Were psychedelics, shamanic practices, and altered states of consciousness used to communicate with the Anunnaki and other entities? Are they still? Did the Anunnaki influence the development of ancient technology, and what can we learn from their mastery of sacred arts like acoustics, geometry, alchemy, and astrotheology? How could the Anunnaki’s claims of mastery over death inform our approach to artificial intelligence, longevity, and the transhumanist quest for immortality? \Anunnaki Revelation examines the Anunnaki in a new light, as discarnate entities who played a crucial role in the development of human consciousness and civilization by communicating advanced knowledge to the leaders of a lost civilization.
