Finally, we have included an activity page which is designed to encourage your child to implement the story's lessons. 
  Our stories are based on questions our children ask us and scenarios we have come across in our daily lives whilst homeschooling them.

  This story is summarized as follows: 
  In May Mysteries, eight-year-old Ida and seven-year-old Arthur Pembroke notice their older siblings, Mabel and Leopold, acting strangely—whispering, sneaking into the forbidden woodland, and showing unusual kindness.   Back at Pembroke Manor, Ida and Arthur apply their newfound wisdom to solve The Case of the Countess’s Clasp, exonerating an innocent maid and inspiring their family to see others with fairness and kindness. 
  This is the second of six audiobooks in the series and I do hope you enjoy, its only $3. 
  The initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 3 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, male vocals, instruments are Harp,Flute,French Horn,Oboe,Organ, Genre is Operatic Orchestral and of course Classical and the mood is Passionate yet Serene. The closing music ends the tale on a gentle note and at just over 2 minutes, no vocals but the same musical instruments and genre but a more serene mood.  
  The story itself runs to about 1 and 1/2 hours and is narrated by Claire Francis, my wife.

  George Balanchine: The Life and...

  By the turn of the 20th century, American entertainment was still preoccupied with European-style operetta, as embodied in the works of cellist-composer Victor Herbert. Traditional dance forms moved from European stories to the American prairie in Oklahoma by the late 1940s, and what was once the property of Bavarian princes became the singing standards of cowboys riding through the corn fields in Oh What a Beautiful Morning and Out of My Dreams.  
  	At the time, the availability of classical ballet in America was scant. In contrast to the evolution of an American style in musical theater, Broadway, and film, ballet in the United States was ushered in largely through the efforts of an individual who brought with him a strong traditional sense from Russia and the rest of Europe but was intent on producing a distinctly American style. Other experimentalists appeared, such as Isadora Duncan, but it was George Balanchine who managed to institutionalize and fund both a hybrid traditional as well as experimental form.  
  	Balanchine, although a dancer as well, is today regarded as the “foremost contemporary choreographer in the world of ballet.”[1] Despite much work in Russia and other parts of Europe, his eventual relocation to the United States made possible the establishment of an American ballet school and an elite ballet company, the New York City Ballet. In contrast to the fiercely guarded Russian classical style of the Bolshoi Theater, the New York City Ballet featured uniquely choreographed performances to previously unfamiliar musical works. These were approached with a uniquely American style of dance, however steeped in tradition the basic steps may have been.

  The last thing Addy Davidson wants is to be on a reality TV show where the prize is a prom date with the President’s son. 
  She’s focused on her schoolwork so she can get a scholarship to an Ivy League college, uncomfortable in the spotlight, never been on a date, and didn’t even audition for it. 
  But she got selected anyway. 
  So she does her best to get eliminated on the very first show. Right before she realizes that the President’s son is possibly the most attractive guy she has ever seen in person, surprisingly nice, and seemingly unimpressed by the 99 other girls who are throwing themselves at him. 
  Addy’s totally out of her comfort zone but that may be right where God can show her all that she was meant to be.
