Ancient traditions and religions uphold sacrifice as a virtue, often associating it with divine favor, enlightenment, or moral duty. Whether in the form of offerings to gods, acts of service, or personal hardships endured for the greater good, sacrifice has always been regarded as an honorable and noble act. 
  Yet, the concept of sacrifice is often misunderstood. Many equate it with mere obligation or duty, but true sacrifice goes beyond forced compliance. It is a conscious choice made out of love, not compulsion. A soldier who volunteers for a dangerous mission, a teacher who dedicates their life to underprivileged children, or a person who donates a life-saving organ to a stranger—these are acts of sacrifice born not out of obligation but from a genuine desire to make a difference. Unlike reluctant compromises, true sacrifice carries an emotional depth that transforms both the giver and the recipient.

  In Crazies to the Left of Me, Wimps to the Right, Goldberg speaks for the millions of Americans who are saying: Enough! Enough of lunatics like Rosie O'Donnell who think ""Radical Christianity"" is ""as big a threat to America as Radical Islam."" Enough of the hyperbolic liberal rhetoric comparing Bush to Hitler and Abu Ghraib to a Saddam Hussein torture chamber. And please, enough of the military-hating crazies who run San Francisco!  
  But Goldberg has also had it with hypocritical Republicans who say they're for small government but then spend our hard-earned tax money like Imelda Marcos in a shoe store. He's also had it with weak and timid Republicans who won't stand up and fight against racial preferences, too afraid that the Al Sharptons and Jesse Jacksons of the world will call them bigots. In plain English, he's had it with Republicans who are afraid to be conservative! The 2006 election was a wake-up call, he warns, and if the wimps on the Right fail to regain their courage, recover their principles, and reclaim their sense of fiscal responsibility, the crazies on the Left just might win the White House in 2008.

Hardy meets would-be philanthropist Lydia, who resides in a well-protected mansion and apparently knows more about him than he does. Over dinner, the situation between the parties escalates and Hardy finds himself in a seemingly hopeless situation. Meanwhile, a horde of undead makes its way to the supposedly safe estate. The chaos is pre-programmed. Denny N. Dwight's cliché-laden declaration of love to the horror and action films of the 80s, 90s and early 2000s enters its second round. Again, he makes use of numerous quotes and allusions from films of these eras. In addition, the author brings up many topics that have been making the rounds among conspiracy theorists for years.

  There can be no doubt that as a matter of fact a religious life, exclusively pursued, does tend to make the person exceptional and eccentric. I speak not now of your ordinary religious believer, who follows the conventional observances of his country, whether it be Buddhist, Christian, or Mohammedan. His religion has been made for him by others, communicated to him by tradition, determined to fixed forms by imitation, and retained by habit. It would profit us little to study this second-hand religious life. We must make search rather for the original experiences which were the pattern-setters to all this mass of suggested feeling and imitated conduct. These experiences we can only find in individuals for whom religion exists not as a dull habit, but as an acute fever rather. But such individuals are "geniuses" in the religious line; and like many other geniuses who have brought forth fruits effective enough for commemoration in the pages of biography, such religious geniuses have often shown symptoms of nervous instability. Even more perhaps than other kinds of genius, religious leaders have been subject to abnormal psychical visitations. Invariably they have been creatures of exalted emotional sensibility. Often they have led a discordant inner life, and had melancholy during a part of their career. They have known no measure, been liable to obsessions and fixed ideas; and frequently they have fallen into trances, heard voices, seen visions, and presented all sorts of peculiarities which are ordinarily classed as pathological. Often, moreover, these pathological features in their career have helped to give them their religious authority and influence.
