D.I. Graves is back on the case to face his toughest challenge yet: a case with no motive and no suspect, nothing at all that could explain why someone would kill innocent people and then take parts from the bodies. Then the next victims are discovered: another pair of bodies, new body parts taken, and again in their own home. Someone is breaking into houses across the city at night, leaving horror in their wake. It seems to Graves that this could be two serial killers, working together. But how are they choosing their victims? Is any house in London a target? Is anyone safe? To make matters worse, a journalist is threatening to cause more harm than good with her obsessive push in covering the story to further her career, and someone is targeting Graves personally, seeking revenge against him in relation to an old case. Can Graves keep himself safe long enough to stop the serial killers before they strike again?

Inspired by a true story! All beauty must die.... With her blankly staring eyes seeming to gaze into the sky, he put a red rose between her teeth and then gently pushed her into the water. She silently sank into the slow, flowing river. She was called the Wild Rose. Emma Frost is on a relaxing and romantic vacation in the small town of Enniskerry in Ireland with her boyfriend Morten, when they find a dead woman in the river. The small town of Enniskerry is shocked by this murder, but also by the secrets it threatens to expose. When another woman is found dead in the river with a rose between her teeth, Emma is plunged into a frantic chase for this serial killer, while she and Morten attempt to solve the mysterious riddles of this town’s painful past. The Wild Rose is an old Irish tale of a man courting a woman and killing her while they are out together. No one ever found her body, and as the years passed, her real name could not be remembered, so she was called The Wild Rose. It is what inspired the song by Nick Cave and now also a serial killer in Enniskerry, Ireland. Where the Wild Roses Grow is a pulse-racing mystery laced with terrifying nail-biting tension impossible to stop listening to! If you like a story with nerve-wracking suspense, and twists you won’t see coming, then you’ll love the Queen of Scream Willow Rose’s, breathtaking stand-alone novel.

    Lorenzo

I rarely eat the food at my upscale Italian restaurant. Vampires need blood, not pasta. I crave the hunt, but I'm not a killer. A lady-killer, yes. There's something about the vampire in me that lures women. The only woman immune to my allure is my dearest and oldest friend, Lily. She helped me survive my transition to vampirism, despite also becoming a monster of sorts. Kind and full of life, Lily is everything I'm not. My unbeating heart wants more than friendship with the fairy, but I'm afraid to ruin our friendship. Besides, what would she want with a broody vampire?

As a fairy, people rarely take me seriously. With my glow and wings, I understand why they look at me and think of Tinker Bell, not Aristotle, but the degree I'm working toward will prove them wrong. As if by some miracle, I think I may finally have a boyfriend, too. He's not the man I really want, but my vampire friend Lorenzo is off-limits. Besides, a human boyfriend may be a better choice since every woman in town isn't chasing him. If only my heart would accept that Lorenzo isn't the man for me . . .

A "genuinely scary" horror debut written in "prose so beautiful you won't want to rush" about a boy who transforms into a monster, a monster who tries to be a man, and the people who love him in every form he takes (Ana Reyes)

Grieving mother Magos cuts out a piece of her deceased eleven-year-old son Santiago's lung. Acting on fierce maternal instinct and the dubious logic of an old folktale, she nurtures the lung until it gains sentience, growing into the carnivorous little Monstrilio she keeps hidden within the walls of her family's decaying Mexico City estate. Eventually, Monstrilio begins to resemble the Santiago he once was, but his innate impulses—though curbed by his biological and chosen family's communal care—threaten to destroy this fragile second chance at life.

A thought-provoking meditation on grief, acceptance, and the monstrous sides of love and loyalty, Gerardo Sámano Córdova blends bold imagination and evocative prose with deep emotional rigor. Told in four acts that span the globe from Brooklyn to Berlin, Monstrilio offers, with uncanny clarity, a cathartic and precise portrait of being human.
