A THIN LINE 
When police officer and parent, Rita Sanchez, finds out that her husband may be involved with illegal export of narcotics, she is quick to let him know that he must cooperate with the investigators and tell all he knows about the Motzies, their Nigerian neighbors. After learning about her husband’s involvement with an illegal smuggling ring run by her neighbors, Rita Sanchez chooses to stay on the side of the law. When the Motzies are murdered, Rita remains on the right side of justice, but her resolve is tested when police improperly interrogate her 12-year-old son Shareef without her consent. This act forces her to break her silence, revealing the intense rage of a mother hurt deeply. 
Shareef learns about the death of his best friend, Lolo, but it is his strange reaction to police officers that drives Rita to confront the entire department. She uncovers that she is dealing with a group of rogue officers, and her actions put not only her career at risk but also her own life and the safety of her family. 
In A THIN LINE, a mother’s love and her duties as a police officer clash because of an oath. But promises can be broken. Are the bonds of love any easier to shatter?
