Synopsis

She’s a dog lover and a magnet for trouble. 
 Dorie’s Pampered Pooch business is failing. She’d rather be rescuing dogs in crisis than buffing their toenails, but she can’t admit failure, especially with her sisters’ critical voices in the background. Will a homeless dog, a hospitalized grandmother, and an introverted photojournalist change her battered luck? 
 Chad’s abysmal record with women means he’s always ‘just a friend.’ But when Dorie’s penchant for saving dogs pits her against unsavoury characters, he leaps into the path of danger, armed only with a camera. This lighthearted story of the youngest Madison sister features small-town connections and enemies-to-lovers who bond over danger and dogs. 
 She loves dogs. He loves her. Can they ever love each other?
