Duet-style narration by Gary Furlong and Angelina Rocca. Brit Delany found some semblance of peace by ignoring the pain of her past. An American photojournalist working on the international stage, it was easy to distance herself from her traumatic childhood. But she is now heading back to Ireland, home of those turbulent memories. Thankfully, there are friendly faces waiting for her. Two men await her arrival, though last she saw them, they were the kindhearted boys who shepherded her through the worst of her dark and tumultuous days. Both look forward to her homecoming, but for far different reasons. Secrets await in the Emerald Isle, and they will threaten everything Brit thought she knew. Love. Rejection. Obsession. Betrayal. All she's survived will act as her emotional armor for what is to come. *****This story is not intended/appropriate for readers under 18 years of age. Be forewarned that the Turbulence Series addresses a range of traumatic issues. Entanglement ends with a cliffhanger. Tranquility is the conclusion to Entanglement.

Short stories have always been a sort of instant access into an author’s brain, their soul and heart. A few pages can lift our lives into locations, people and experiences with a sweep of landscape, narration, feelings and emotions that is difficult to achieve elsewhere.

In this series we try to offer up tried and trusted ‘Top Tens’ across many different themes and authors. But any anthology will immediately throw up the questions – Why that story? Why that author?

The theme itself will form the boundaries for our stories which range from well-known classics, newly told, to stories that modern times have overlooked but perfectly exemplify the theme. Throughout the volume our authors whether of instant recognition or new to you are all leviathans of literature.

Some you may disagree with but they will get you thinking; about our choices and about those you would have made. If this volume takes you on a path to discover more of these miniature masterpieces then we have all gained something.

In these Isles of Imperial Empire the English language is now the lingua franca of the globe. But between the Home nations tensions remain, they rise and fall, all is not well. Authors born abroad and returning have new views, unique, a little off-kilter and literature feeds well on this fuel. Together the men of these islands produce literature of quite sumptuous quality.

I'm Colin McCool, and the last time I dealt with the Fair Folk, it cost me everything.
Since then, I've been hiding behind scrap iron and protective spells, pretending the supernatural world doesn't exist. No magic. No fae. No exceptions.
Then I got blackmailed into service—courtesy of a Faery Queen whose power makes even the Celtic gods nervous. Now I'm being dragged back into the life I swore to leave behind.
They say you can't go home again.
What they don't tell you is sometimes home comes looking for you—with teeth, claws, and curses...ABOUT THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION:
