   summary of this first book in the series is as follows:: 
  Eight-year-old Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant young inventor, lives in a grand, slightly eerie castle with his creation, Nutty Bolt—a friendly, patchwork monster made from spare parts. Despite the villagers' initial fear, Victor organizes an open day to introduce them to Nutty. The villagers, including skeptical Old Farmer Jenkins and curious children, are amazed by Victor’s inventions, like Whirly Gig the mechanical bird and Tick Tock the clockwork dog.   The story and music itself runs to just over 30 minutes and is narrated in the voice of claire francis, my wife.
