Synopsis

Cain 
I can’t let them take her from me again. She’s mine, and I will do whatever it takes to keep her safe, but with Marlo in the mix, that’s easier said than done. He wants to use her as a bargaining chip to win a war that I have no intention of letting her near. I don't care how long I have to wait or how far I have to go to protect her. Brielle DelaCourt will get to choose, and I will hand my life over to The Fates to ensure she gets her happily ever after.

Sometimes, I wish I could go back to when I knew nothing—about this world, this war, or myself—back to the girl who knew what she wanted and where she was headed.
