“The Blocks Building” was born as a poem and remains so in this newly minted Book Five of Kelly Anne Manuel’s Essentials Series. In this story the Child is invited on a journey where blocks are the destination. Block play is such an incredible opportunity for Children to learn on so many levels that the author felt a book dedicated just to them was important.“The Blocks Building” offers a standing invitation to the Child. The Child will be invited to explore why blocks are so engaging and perfect for the world of pretend. Block play is about freedom of thought, choice, and unknown outcomes. The story encourages the Child to utilize block play even though these freedoms are a supplement to the primary enjoyment of creation. The simple words take on new meaning as the illustrations pair perfectly with their presentation. The bright colors and block formations are meant to visually stimulate curiosity. Block play requires the Child to actively engage with the blocks for any outcome to be realized. This active engagement in play results in learning in a variety of productive ways. The Child’s imagination will be ignited with possibilities as all manner of images leap off the pages.Children are naturally drawn to colorful toys of all shape, sizes, and textures. Blocks are an excellent example of all these various options. Since blocks come in all forms and can be made out of so many different materials, even the diversity of them is an important idea. In this story the author includes the Child to actively engage in flexing their imagination muscle by allowing the Child to answer some questions posed by the narrator. It is in early Childhood that futures are being constructed. “The Blocks Building” is a tool in a Caregiver’s toolbox to assist with that healthy formation. The idea that bringing a world from imagination into actual structure is a benefit of block play that the author embraces. The Child who reads this book will benefit from a motivation to explore bl

Now residents from the whole building are coming to the Strathmore Seven for help—from Second Floor Biscuit, a Yorkie with an unfortunate haircut who faces eviction for barking at the intruders, to the loading dock rats, who are feeling intimidated and upset. Among America’s presidents, Harry Truman’s presidency produced some of the nation’s most crucial decisions and left one of the nation’s most unique legacies. As president, Truman would lay the groundwork for the next 50 years of American foreign policy, as the architect of Cold War containment, the man who signed off on the Marshall Plan, and the commander-in-chief during much of the Korean War.
Despite being one of America’s oldest presidents, Eisenhower redefined the public relations nature of the office, in addition to positioning America during the Cold War standoff with the Soviet Union. But Eisenhower’s most lasting contribution as president was the construction of the interstate highway system, and it was in the final year of his presidency that his administration planned and implemented the Apollo space program that would land men on the Moon in 1969.
In 1961, Kennedy made it seem like anything was possible, and Americans were eager to believe him. The Kennedy years were fondly and famously labeled “Camelot,” by Jackie herself, suggesting an almost mythical quality about the young President and his family.
Of all the politicians who have left their mark on American history, few have had a political career or list of accomplishments and accolades that can even come close to rivaling Lyndon B. Johnson. Johnson is one of only 4 Americans to serve as a House Rep, U.S. Senator, Vice President and President, and he made the most out of each experience.
The 70+ year old former actor Ronald Reagan went on to have one of the most consequential presidencies of the 20th century, unquestionably making him one of the most influential men of the last 50 years. And his name is still as relevant in American politics today, with every politician with an R next to his or her name trying to claim Ronald Reagan’s conservative mantle.

    Dear Listeners,
In this book one learns about the fundamental principles of bhakti-yoga and how these principles free one's life completely from material suffering. In due course of time wisdom was transferred from the Supreme Person, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, to the people of this world.
“The Personality of Godhead, Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, said: I instructed this imperishable science of yoga to the sun-god, Vivasvān, and Vivasvān instructed it to Manu, the father of mankind, and Manu in turn instructed it to Ikṣvāku.
This supreme science was thus received through the chain of disciplic succession, and the saintly kings understood it in that way. But in course of time the succession was broken, and therefore the science as it is appears to be lost.”
    (BG 4.1-2)
Due to the fact that this transcendental wisdom of yoga was lost over time, now we have to remind ourselves of it and revive it again.
I am writing therefore as a messenger of the spiritual discipline of yoga, steadily engaged in serving humanity. Recognising the importance of this transcendental wisdom, we want to invite you to learn about the Mantra-Meditation particularly. Perhaps you are already following meditation or have some knowledge of yoga, nonetheless, one can learn a lot from this book “Via Medium”.
It concerns the history of the transmission of transcendental knowledge, the mantra meditation, its technique and theology, as well as the supreme science - bhakti-yoga.
It also tells a personal story and transformative account with the Maha-Mantra meditation and how I got to know His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda, a bona fide spiritual master, receiving initiation into the spiritual discipline as a servant of Kṛṣṇa, the son of Mother Yashoda, receiving the spiritual name Yaśomatinandana Dāsa.
