Originally created in 1917 and published in 1929, “Moonchild” is the most popular novel written by the British occultist Aleister Crowley.

“Moonchild” tells the story of a young girl drawn into a magical war between two men that is forced to choose between them. Written from personal experience, this work describes the methods and theories of modern magical practices.

In this work, numerous acquaintances of Crowley appear as thinly disguised fictional characters.
