Sinossi

In the quiet English village of St. Mary Mead, where life appears peaceful and predictable, a single gunshot shatters the calm of an ordinary afternoon. Colonel Protheroe is found dead in the vicar’s study, and what first seems a straightforward case soon unfolds into a web of secrets, lies, and carefully constructed alibis. As villagers step forward with suspicious confessions and hidden motives emerge beneath polite façades, the sharp mind of Miss Jane Marple begins to piece together the truth. Elderly and unassuming, yet brilliantly perceptive, Miss Marple proves that even the most respectable communities conceal dark passions and deadly intentions. The Murder at the Vicarage is one of Agatha Christie’s most celebrated novels and marks the debut of one of detective fiction’s most beloved characters. A masterful classic mystery, rich with wit, psychological insight, and unexpected twists, where nothing is quite as it seems—and every detail matters.Agatha Christie (1890–1976) was one of the most influential writers in literary history and the undisputed Queen of Crime. Born in Torquay, England, she transformed detective fiction with brilliantly constructed plots, subtle psychological insight, and an unmatched sense of misdirection. Across a career spanning more than fifty years, Christie wrote over sixty detective novels, numerous short story collections, and several enduring plays. She created two of the most iconic characters in mystery literature: the fastidious Belgian detective Hercule Poirot and the deceptively gentle yet razor-sharp Miss Jane Marple. Her books are celebrated for their “fair-play” mysteries, where every clue is present and nothing is accidental. Translated into more than one hundred languages and selling billions of copies worldwide, Agatha Christie remains the best-selling novelist of all time and a cornerstone of classic crime fiction.

    Murder’s afoot!
As Mrs. Ginger Reed~also known as Lady Gold~waits impatiently for the coming of her baby, new neighbours move onto Mallowan Court. The Foote family is very much like Ginger’s own, if not the mirror opposite: Mr. and Mrs. Foote an unhappy couple; Mr. Rothwell an aging, irate patriarch; Miss Charlotte, whom Scout finds to be a tantalizing, if confusing specimen of young ladyhood; along with a similar collection of staff.
The sudden passing of a Foote family member is determined to be unsuspicious, but something about this strange family doesn’t sit right with Ginger.
When the doctor banishes Ginger to her bed to await the coming birth, she has to depend on the information brought to her by her good friend and former sister-in-law, Felicia, the new Lady Davenport-Witt.
Can the two ladies solve the crime before the baby comes?

"The Adventure of the Three Garridebs" (1924), one of the 56 Sherlock Holmes short stories written by British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, is one of 12 stories in the cycle collected as The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes.
According to Dr. Watson's opening narration, this story is set at "the latter end of June, 1902 ... the same month that Holmes refused a knighthood for services which may perhaps some day be described." This is a parallel to the knighthood of Arthur Conan Doyle around the same time.
Holmes receives a letter from a Nathan Garrideb of 136 Little Ryder Street, asking for help in a most peculiar quest. He is looking for another man with his unusual surname, for it will mean a $5 million inheritance for him. He has been approached by another man, John Garrideb of Kansas, who says that he needs to find others with the same last name.

YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES & JOHN WATSON
The case of the missing Shetland Pony.
This completely new story I have written involves the 10 year old boys who will be the great detective Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, his assistant, when they grow up, this is their formative years where they perfect their skills before adulthood on what my appear to be inconsequential subjects, but the principle remains the same.
This is just one of an extensive series I will be publishing as audio books in the very near future and I do hope you enjoy this first one, and its only $1.25 cents, all subsequent will remain at that price as I would not like price to be a barrier to your enjoyment.
I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, a violin Holme's musical instrument of choice and is energetic and the closing music ends the tale on a more restrained mode and only about 1 minute.
The story itself runs to about just under 7 minutes and is of course a short story, it is read in my own voice.
The story involves the the disappearance of a Shetland Pony called Buttercup belonging to the young daughter, Florence, 0f a the Duke & Duchess of Belgravia who lived in a mansion near Hyde Park in London in the late 1900's and Holmes uses his powers of deduction and observation to track down the pony to a gambling man who almost sold the poor creature to pay off his debts.. Needless to say Holmes solves the mystery, recovers the pony to Florence and her parents delight, with aplomb and goes onto his next case.
The stories are designed to be entertaining to children of approximately the same age around 10 years old due to the characters involved.
I do hope you and you children, if applicable, enjoy this audiobook and let me know what you think, there are a lot more to come!

It will be an international spectacle in which the young and popular Count Rudolph Absberg, a political exile from his native land, will take the hand of the beautiful and accomplished Princess Sophia Kubinova. A lot depends on the marriage, for it is hoped that the union will ensure the security and independence of their homeland.

When the princess subsequently disappears in dramatic circumstances, members of the British establishment are quick to call on Mr Sherlock Holmes. He, in turn, needs the gifts of long-standing housekeeper Mrs Hudson and her able assistant, housemaid Flotsam, to solve this puzzling case on which rests the fate of nations.
