Thomas Chaplin
Thomas Chaplin was born in south-west Scotland in the mid 1940s. He moved to London in 1963 and served for more than thirty years with the Metropolitan Police. He was a career detective for more than twenty-seven years and on leaving the Force was a self-employed licensed London taxi driver for over twenty years. He is now retired and indulges in his hobbies which include photography, gardening and playing golf. He is an avid sports fan.
