A. E. W. Mason
A. E. W. Mason (1865–1948) was a British author and politician who served as a Member of Parliament for Coventry from 1906 to 1910. He is known for his detective novels featuring Inspector Hanaud, including At the Villa Rose (1910), and for Witness for the Defence (1913).
