Summary

Stumbling Out the Stable is an irreverent trip down the turbulent backroads of early adulthood. Seamus, a college student with aspirations to hitch hike aimlessly after graduation, grows increasingly unsettled with the vagueness of the future. His friend Jamie, on the other hand, revels in its unpredictability. Together, they party with colorful characters, raise hell at their anarchistic workplace, and wax philosophic about life's hidden glitches. After a series of accidents intersect their lives, the boys stumble to find their footing as it becomes clear that not everything in life can be avoided.

The central idea/premise behind Ancestral Meridians is that there are undiscovered acupuncture points that could lead mankind to higher spiritual and emotional planes. Ancestral Meridians is designed to explore the possibility that these points may exist. It should be clearly understood that acupuncture is not the sole instrument used to explore the undiscovered but may create the conduit for a flow of information from an area, or areas, previously unknown.

Ancestral Meridians is a modern novel divided into three main story lines, with linking substories woven into and throughout the narrative. The action of the work takes place in America, Ancient Egypt, India, and modern-day China. The stories in Ancestral Meridians are revealed by Dr. Daniel Lane II and Dr. Jonathan Hoover, both acupuncturists.

Amateur sleuth Charlie Davies is back again, and this time she's taking on a Russian gangster. Maybe.
Charlie's boss, the less-than-friendly Adam Baxter, has received information that local club owner Lonny Lionel is, in fact, an escaped foreign criminal - but that's not the kind of thing you can just come out and ask someone. Adam wouldn't normally ask Charlie to help him (she's not exactly his star employee), but she happens to have an 'in' - her friend is dating the man in question.
As if that's not enough to deal with, James McKenzie - Charlie's on-again, off-again worst enemy - is being strangely friendly towards her, and now her other nemesis (her former best friend, Celia) is back on the scene, looking to befriend her too. If she doesn't watch out, Charlie is going to run out of adversaries.
Oh, apart from that gangster she's spying on, who will torture and murder her if he finds out what she's doing. (If he actually does turn out to be a criminal, that is.)
When she stumbles upon a dead body at a local construction site, Charlie starts to think that this time she might be in over her head.
Not that it would be that hard - she is pretty short.

A regional television programme, Get One Over, where amateurs search for and discover antiques and valuable objects in junk shops, has captured the nation’s zeitgeist and gone nationwide.

The Christmas episode is to be filmed in Market Darley, and both antiques fan, Miss Emily Jarvis, and DI Falconer and DS Carmichael plan to be in town to bump into the stars of the programme. Carmichael loves the programme for its jokey narrator, but Falconer, along with a host of other viewers, hates the man’s rude and condescending commentary.

But on a crispy cold December morning, as the chase around the town to find the TV stars continues, it proves to be a terminal performance for one of their number.

The final three novels in the Dragonback sci-fi saga from the #1 New York Times–bestselling and Hugo Award–winning author of Star Wars: Thrawn—“Enthralling” (Science Fiction Chronicle).   Young fugitive Jack Morgan and alien K’da warrior Draycos are inseparable—quite literally. They’ve been together since a desperate Draycos was forced to bond with Jack as his host in order to survive. Now they’re traveling the stars trying to clear Jack of a crime he didn’t commit, bring down a conspiracy to destroy Draycos’s people, and generally stay alive . . .  DRAGON AND HERDSMAN After nearly being caught, Jack and Draycos are rescued by Alison Kayna, a reluctant mercenary who steals them away to a planet where she plans to meet some friends. But when they get there they see something they never expected: a lost colony of K’da who have all but forgotten their pride and honor.  DRAGON AND JUDGE Just when Jack thinks he has a lead to help Draycos on his quest, he’s kidnapped by a pack of aliens—not as a prisoner, but as a judge. Jack has no idea why they think he would, or could, know how to be a judge. But they soon reveal they want him specifically because Jack’s long-lost parents were once asked to do the same thing . . .  DRAGON AND LIBERATOR Jack and Draycos have traveled a long way and been through a lot of hard times together, and now it looks like their journey may finally come to an end.
