Dangerous Ideals - Hollow #2

Summary
The adventure continues! Perhaps setting fire to his ship in the middle of the sea hadn't been the smartest move, but, hey, it wasn't Drome's fault. It wasn't him who'd thrown the fireballs. Okay, so technically, if he hadn't pissed off the wizard, he'd be sailing aboard a nice safe ship instead of nearly drowning and ending up on a remote beach, but still. Being shipwrecked in the middle of nowhere isn't much fun, especially when Drome's skeletal companion is behaving so unreasonably. Perhaps he should point out it isn't his fault there's such a hostile atmosphere between them… Despite the odds, Drome hopes to stay alive, mostly because, well, that's what people tend to do. At least, they do when they're not being chased by homicidal maniacs or about to be executed by fanatics. It isn't fair. How can anyone possibly think he's been inciting rebellion or whatever? It's not as though he deliberately sets out to upset people. And then there's the vital matter of getting back home before a bunch of bloodthirsty troops gets there first. Dammit! He needs a plan. And maybe a bit of help. But he sure as hell isn't going to ask for any. Definitely not from a certain living skeleton with an attitude problem. If you like Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, and Joe Abercrombie, you won't be able to put down the compulsively addictive Hollow series.
