Summary

Leadership, today, can be used both as a framework of thought and as a tool for bringing desired and intended changes to a personal and professional level.
These changes, made intentionally on a personal and professional level, can propagate results and outputs in the areas of personal development, relationships, business, communities, policies, politics, etc.
Considering the present situation, with all the problems a modern person has to cope with, the changing of things that are not working anymore, as used to be, should and ought to be a task of personal responsibility. And for this reason, I believe that a broad initiative must be taken, in order to regain the insights that can lead us, to formulate a better social, political, business and personal environment.
I believe that Leadership, as a principle and disciple, is a vital component in this procedure and can be used by anyone in order to enhance his/her personal and professional life.
Furthermore, if leadership backed up and supported by science and productivity strategies, the results would be awesome.
Today, in a competitive market environment, with more demanding tasks and requirements a person can cope with, and with a widespread information overload demanding for attention, a person should he or she have a guide to support him/her in his/hers daily, short and long term goals.
This little book moves to that direction. It consists of articles and posts that provide a framework for reflection and discussion on topics related to the areas of business, leadership, personal development, productivity, and of the tools can support an effective activity in these areas.

Although no negotiation is just about price, it sure seems as though a great deal of our time and our negotiating energy is taken up by dealing with all of the issues surrounding both the price that we want and the price that we are willing to give. How your ability to argue is can have a significant impact on how good of a job you are going to be able to do in defending your price.

Negotiating is all about strategies and techniques. In order to get what you want out of your next negotiation you need to learn how to use the pivot technique as a part of your argument strategy in order to create the opportunity for you to get the deal that you want.

All too often we start to feel a great deal of pressure to make sure that we know everything about everything before the negotiations start. However, the good news is that recent discoveries have shown that you can still successfully win the arguments that naturally occur during a negotiation even if you don't know the answer to every possible question.

The world of negotiating can be confusing and challenging. This book has been created to act as your guide as you explore how to boost your ability to successful argue during a negotiation. By using the ideas and techniques outlined in this book you can take control of the negotiations during arguments and drive the discussions towards achieving the deal that you are looking for.

There has been a lot written about leadership for the present day, but the world is changing quickly. What worked in the past won't work in the future. We need to know how to prepare leaders who can successfully navigate and guide us through the next decade and beyond.
How is leadership changing, and why? How ready are leaders today for these changes? What should leaders do now? To answer these questions, Jacob Morgan interviewed over 140 CEOs from companies like Unilever, Mastercard, Best Buy, Oracle, Verizon, Kaiser, KPMG, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Yum! Brands, Saint-Gobain, Dominos, Philip Morris International, and over a hundred others. Jacob also partnered with Linkedin to survey almost 14,000 of their members around the globe to see how CEO insights align with employee perspectives.
The majority of the world's top business leaders that Jacob interviewed believe that while some core aspects of leadership will remain the same, such as creating a vision and executing on strategy, leaders of the future will need a new arsenal of skills and mindsets to succeed.
What emerged from all of this research is the most accurate groundbreaking book on the future of leadership, which shares exclusive insights from the world's top CEOs and never before seen research.
