Summary

Cody stared at the entire crowd. She turned on a circle in the busy promenade. How did I get here? How long have I been here?
The alarms are blaring. Over three hours have passed without her awareness. She suffered yet another blackout and more memory loss. The last thing she remembered was packing her bags. Those alarms signaled the time to board the ships at the dock, but only the lucky ones who had a ticket. Once the big storm came, there’d be nowhere to hide.
A man approaches Cody with a proposal. He needs her because she is the only human being alive who is gifted with her alchemy talents. Who can make a certain compound that he wants. In her line of work, she’s dealt with men like him, and taking their contracts meant a bullet in your head afterward. Besides, anyone who wants her compound is up to no good.
What she doesn’t expect is to get stuck on the same ship as the man who wanted to hire her. He forces her hand. She tries to sabotage his plans, but someone is sabotaging her plans. Nobody else knows how to make the project . . . so who is reversing her work?
Time is running out.
Complications arise.
“What have I done?”

Wake up. It's the first day of seventh grade. Your whole life, from that day until today, vanished like a camera flash. No one else remembers the last ten/fifteen/we-won't-say-how-many years.
    What do you do?
A chilling thought for you. Reality for her. Yesterday, Amy was about to turn twenty-six. Today is Amy's birthday—her thirteenth birthday—and the first day of seventh grade. The last thirteen years vanished overnight.
Amy doesn't know how she got here or how she can get back. If she can get back. If she confides in the wrong person, she could be ridiculed, bullied, committed, even killed. So how can she tell the wrong person from the right one?
On top of all this, Amy has to survive middle school, again. All the bullies, mean girls, belittling teachers, and hormone-crazed hellions are still there. Every cutting comment hurts just as much the second time around. And what's the story with that strange snake symbol she sees everywhere, or the guy who seems to know way more about her than he's willing to tell?
I Am Not Thirteen is an intense, and devastating, supernatural thriller that will keep you hooked until the very last page.

When aliens invade, only a con man can save the day.

Hollis Palmer is not a good man. An unapologetic thief and womanizer, he has no time for anything that won’t profit him directly. So while the rest of the world is staring up in shock as aliens race toward Earth, Hollis is busy stealing a case valuable enough that he’ll be able to ride out any invasion in style.

But ET's arrival proves to be a bigger catastrophe than Hollis – or humanity – expected. Meanwhile, his would-be hostage, Mia Davies, the trophy wife of his criminal boss, is making the aliens look like a walk in the park.

As their plans crumble along with the rest of the world, Hollis and Mia find themselves on the run from a motley crew of aliens, criminals, and crackpots. The two of them must figure out a way to work together without killing each other before something really bad happens–like the city gets blown up, for example.

The first book in Platt & Truant’s new series set in their bestselling Invasion Universe, Save the City is a relentless, action-packed tale of alien apocalypse that will leave you breathless – and ready for more.

In what constitutes a prequel to Mariners of Gor, we learn that a mysterious cargo, suitably disguised, was covertly placed on the great ship, a cargo that might influence the outcome of the aforementioned gamble. One narrator is a young woman, once a Miss Margaret Alyssa Cameron, and the other is an individual whose name, for reasons that will become obvious, is withheld in the manuscript. It does seem clear, however, that the individual referred to was somehow instrumental in bringing the former Miss Cameron to the height of a large slave block in the coastal city of Brundisium, one of Gor’s major ports.   Rediscover this brilliantly imagined world where men are masters and women live to serve their every desire.  Smugglers of Gor is the 32nd book in the Gorean Saga, but you may enjoy reading the series in any order.

Winner of a 2017 ALA Alex Award!
    A Tor.com Best of 2016 pick!
Set in the magical world of Renthia, The Queen of Blood is Sarah Beth Durst’s ambitious entry into adult epic fantasy. With the danger of Peter Brett’s The Warded Man, heart of Naomi Novik’s Uprooted, and lyricism of Patrick Rothfuss’ The Name of the Wind, this is the first chapter in a series destined to be a classic.
Everything has a spirit: the willow tree with leaves that kiss the pond, the stream that feeds the river, the wind that exhales fresh snow . . .
But the spirits that reside within this land want to rid it of all humans. One woman stands between these malevolent spirits and the end of humankind: the queen. She alone has the magical power to prevent the spirits from destroying every man, woman, and child. But queens are still just human, and no matter how strong or good, the threat of danger always looms.
With the position so precarious, young women are chosen to train as heirs. Daleina, a seemingly quiet academy student, is under no illusions as to her claim to the throne, but simply wants to right the wrongs that have befallen the land. Ven, a disgraced champion, has spent his exile secretly fighting against the growing number of spirit attacks. Joining forces, these daring partners embark on a treacherous quest to find the source of the spirits’ restlessness—a journey that will test their courage and trust, and force them to stand against both enemies and friends to save their land . . .  before it’s bathed in blood.

The Guardians of the Time Stream is a steampunk-ish series set during the reconstruction of the United States in the decades following the Civil War.
Technology is on the rise, with locomotives and steam-powered industry, airships and other experiments in slightly anachronistic technology. A fascination with travel around the world and the exploration of other cultures, especially ancient cultures, is on the rise.
One thing to keep in mind is that this is an alternative-history Earth ...
The Guardians of the Time Stream, who call themselves the Originators, are determined to ensure the effects of certain events in history don't do any more harm to the planet than has already been done. Their secret: they are the descendants of travelers from our far distant future, who traveled into the distant past to prevent another group of time travelers from altering the world to suit their vision. And as Ess Fremont grows up and learns her heritage, her family's history and their secrets, she takes her place in the battle to protect the world.
    SANCTUARY
Ess Fremont and the Blue Lotus Society know the Originators have been infiltrated by Revisionists, their ancestral enemies in the quest to rewrite or protect history. The treachery has reached even to their headquarters, Sanctuary, an underground complex near San Francisco.
Problem: The Society can't contact Sanctuary, or risk putting power into the enemy's hands. Yet Ess must go there to claim her heritage and learn how and why her grandparents vanished seven years ago. All her answers, and a vital weapon in the battle against the Revisionists could lie in her grandparents' vault -- and Ess herself is the key to open it.
Solution: Ask her family lawyers to "turn her in," and on the train ride cross-country, begin her education.
The journey launches revelations that threaten everything Ess knows as truth. As she uncovers schemes within lies within treachery, the fulfillment of her family's destiny rests heavy on her shoulders.
Who can she trust when her own grandparents blocked her memories, and the means to save or destroy them all are hidden in the vaults of her mind?

    My name is Yuna Queenertia,
I woke up one day with nearly no memories. Not my home. Not my family. Nothing...but my name.
In my awakening, I am introduced to a short, old woman named Granny. A young, optimistic girl named Sam. Her mother, Anna. And a mysterious girl named Claire. My world grows colder knowing I was in a coma. If that wasn't enough, I come to learn of the world I live in.
Magic. A thing of fiction. A thing of mystery. Abundant and thriving; fantasy became my reality. But the world of magic is not what it seems.
Minor flashbacks of my past begin to surface. Granny and those I know hold more secrets than they tell. A serial killer called the Phantom runs rampant within the village. Born with silver hair, I come to find I am a curse. And a target to the village I live in.
My personality begins to split as I am pushed to fighting for who I am. But who am I really? Am I Yuna Queenertia? Or the Cursed Queen?
My name is Yuna Queenertia, and this is my tale.
