Summary

Blake Walker is no stranger to tragedy.  Immediately following a horrific event years earlier, he was lost for a while until he embraced his Dominant nature and found his true calling.  But things change and now he's back where he started, helping to run his family's secluded lake lodge.
When pampered Hollywood starlet Shasta Pyke gets into trouble with the law, she's sent to the wilderness of northern Ontario to cool her heels for a few weeks.  There she meets sexy bush pilot Blake, who is tasked with seeing to her needs as the sole guest at the lodge.
Initially, Blake isn't impressed with the spoiled actress, but he's happy that her visit allows for his sister Jackie and her kids to go on a much-needed vacation.  Try as he might, he can't figure out what the hell Shasta Pyke is doing so far out of her element.
Shasta's attracted to Blake's obvious good looks, but there's more to him than that.  He sees through her armor to the vulnerable little girl she hides from the world.  The Daddy Dominant in him craves to shelter her, to make her his own.
Is there any way Shasta will agree to submit to Blake's Dominance?
Lost & Bound is part of Pandora Spocks' Dream Dominant Collection, a series of stand-alone novels featuring sexy, Dominant men and the strong, red-haired submissives who find them irresistible.  It is a contemporary erotic romance novel with a light BDSM theme, and features a DD/lg relationship.  It is intended for mature audiences.

Justine, or The Misfortunes of Virtue, is an early work by the Marquis de Sade. It is a novella, written in two weeks while he was imprisoned in the Bastille. Unlike some of his other works, it is not just a catalogue of sadism. It is meant to bring new life to an old genre, which had the reader accustomed to see virtue eventually triumph after trials only meant to bring out its value. Sade would have none of that in Justine: in her quest for virtue, the main character keeps falling into terrible situations, which humiliate her and present her with sexual lessons hidden under the mask of virtue. She seeks refuge and confession in a monastery, only to discover the monks are perverts and to be forced to become their sex-slave; she tries to help a gentleman getting robbed in a field, but he eventually imprisons her in his dungeon, subjugating her to various sexual punishments... All of this is narrated by Justine herself, on her way to the gallocks. Napoleon Bonaparte ordered the arrest of the anonymous author of Justine and Juliette, and as a result Sade was incarcerated for the last 13 years of his life. The book's destruction was ordered by the Cour Royale de Paris on May 19, 1815.

    About this book:

    Justine, the most celebrated

of the novels of the Marquis de Sade, was written in three versions. This

translation is taken from the first version- and unlike the other two is a gem

of eighteenth century literature. Widely execrated by de Sade's contemporaries and

by modern Mrs Grundys, it is an innovative novel of considerable novel of

    considerable depth and psychological insight.

Deserted by her father on his bankruptcy, and the

subsequent death of her mother, the virtuous Justine is thrown onto her own resources.

As she makes her way in the world she is subjected to the most frightful

humiliations- flogging, rape and forced labour, which lead her to believe that

virtue is not its own reward.
