Summary

The contents of this book are fundamental. God calls all who are His to a sanctified life. The life of a believer in which sin reigns is subnormal. However, many believers find themselves bound by sin. They are like Lazarus walking out of the tomb with life, but in bondage.
In this book, we have attempted to show as clearly as we can, the way to deliverance from sin. We do not believe that anyone can be as sinless as the Lord Jesus was while in this body of flesh, but this state is already accomplished in the Lord Jesus and therefore, we can be delivered once and for all from the bondage of sin. We also see that this deliverance, though entered into as a crisis, must be maintained daily by a very close walk with the Lord, in full co-operation with Him, by the use of the sanctified mind.
The Psalmist asked,
"How can a young man keep his way pure?" He provided the answer as follows, "By guarding it according to thy word. With my whole heart I seek thee, let me not wander from thy commandment! I have laid up thy word in my heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed be thou, O Lord; teach me thy statutes! With my lips I declare all the ordinances of thy mouth. In the way of thy testimonies I delight as much as in all riches. I will meditate on thy precepts, and fix my eyes on thy ways. I will delight in thy statutes; I will not forget thy word" (Psalm 119:9-16).
We believe with him that daily Bible study and prayer (The Quiet Time) is indispensable in maintaining the sanctified life which is first entered into by faith in the finished work of Christ.
Holiness is not just the absence of sin. It includes conformity to God. Sanctification is an aspect of holiness. Our prayer is that the Lord will use this book to work out sanctification in many lives and that many will attain unto "the holiness without which no one will see the Lord."

A West Virginia woman finds love—and her own courageous spirit: “There are authors who touch the heart, but this one grabs hold of your soul” (Romance at Heart Reviews).   Miss Emeline Wright risked everything to escape the monster who stole her innocence, her dignity, and her pride. Now, no one in her little hometown, nestled in the West Virginia hills, must ever know what she was forced to do while held captive in the city. Her only chance is to make a go of her uncle’s failing farm—but how can a woman alone in rough country survive?   With unfailing courage and an open heart, Em wins over the townspeople who’ve judged her so harshly, taking in a motley crew of misfits who show up, one by one, to lend a hand. But it’s the quiet strength and unfailing love of a single man that will show her how to trust again as they build a home to last forever . . .   This emotional historical romance set in rugged nineteenth-century America is an unforgettable saga of a strong woman from an author who offers “addictive reading” (Affaire de Coeur).   “A keeper.” —Catherine Lanigan

Sleep Deprivation Can Make You Obese, Forgetful, Aged and Diseased for the Rest of Your Life!
Don’t blame lifestyle for your disturbed sleep. Did you know that sleeping more or fewer than seven hours a day greatly impairs the production of thyroid and stress hormones. This impairment, in turn, not only affects the memory, immune system and metabolism etc., but also increases the risk of high blood sugar levels, hypertension (high blood pressure), weight gain, accelerated ageing, depression and increased risk of heart attack.
Researchers have also determined that sleeping adequately after a few days of disturbed sleep can very nearly erase any lingering sense of mental haziness and fatigue.
In order to help you get a sound sleep and also to protect you from the need to take recourse to making up any lost sleep or disorder, the book details the importance, benefits, physiology and body reinvigoration of having sound sleep, untoward effects of sleep disorders and natural & non-conventional methods of managing it. Also explained in various chapters are advantages of proper exercise, yoga, naturopathy, acupressure, colour & music therapy, lifestyle changes etc., that enable waking up in the morning feeling fresh, fit and trim. A separate chapter is devoted to the Dos and Don’ts to highlight factors that contribute towards bringing sound sleep.
An indispensible book guaranteeing Sound Sleep to all readers every night!

Sparkling Regency Romance from a Captivating New VoiceLady Miranda Hawthorne acts every inch the lady, but inside she longs to be bold and carefree. Entering her fourth Season and approaching spinsterhood in the eyes of society, she pours her innermost feelings out not in a diary but in letters to her brother's old school friend, a duke--with no intention of ever sending these private thoughts to a man she's heard stories about but never met. Meanwhile, she also finds herself intrigued by Marlow, her brother's new valet, and although she may wish to break free of the strictures that bind her, falling in love with a servant is more of a rebellion than she planned. When Marlow accidentally discovers and mails one of the letters to her unwitting confidant, Miranda is beyond mortified. And even more shocked when the duke returns her note with one of his own that initiates a courtship-by-mail. Insecurity about her lack of suitors shifts into confusion at her growing feelings for two men--one she's never met but whose words deeply resonate with her heart, and one she has come to depend on but whose behavior is more and more suspicious. When it becomes apparent state secrets are at risk and Marlow is right in the thick of the conflict, one thing is certain: Miranda's heart is far from all that's at risk for the Hawthornes and those they love.
