Hirudoterapi meaning Leech therapy is used as a means of treatment by physicians since ancient times.
The first source of treatment with leech BC
XV. -century date back to the Babylonians physician.
Physician Nikandros  who lived on the Aegean coast in BC II. century, Greek physician Pliniy, lived after M.S and Galen, who lived in after M.S. have applied leech therapy.
The leech therapy took place in studies of  Ib-ni Sina'  who is regarded as one of the most significant thinkers and writers of the Islamic Golden Age, of the 450 works he is known to have written, around 240 have survived, including 150 on philosophy and 40 on medicine.
