Before your child can pronounce the words "white" or "black," referring to the color of the skin, make sure he sees enough people from different ethnic backgrounds. If you do not live in an area where there is racial diversity, read children's books that deal with people of different races. It will help your child understand that a normal environment includes people of different skin colors.
At this age, although children clearly identify themselves and others as males or females, they still do not do so by race. They are still not able to categorize it this way. A child who notices a difference in the color of the skin does not understand the difference between one race and another.
If your child talks about a person's color, first find out what he says that and why. It may refer to the color of the sweater that the Lord wears and not the color of his skin. When your child makes a comment that is clearly about the color of the skin, don't make a scene. Whatever the context, it will not yet have an emotional or social meaning. He just says what he sees.
Although it is good to talk openly about differences, avoid putting too much emphasis on races. Pre-school children are too young to process the intricacies of racial problems. Let the subject come out naturally and keep the conversation on a simple level. Watch what you say.

Cannabis is not only smoked! Discover in this audiobook the different methods for administration and dosage.
Consumption of cannabis in humanity began more than 4000 years ago. The first registered experience about its therapeutic use was in the classical pharmacopoeia, transcribed by the legendary founder of Chinese medicine, the Red Emperor Sheng Nung, in the 2.737 B.C; It was then when cannabis was adopted as an effective plan for reducing rheumatic pain, cold, menstrual and digestive disorders. Subsequently the use of the plant was entrenched in the East and progressively entered in western medicine, where it began to be used due to the therapeutic effects of relieving several symptoms and diseases.
The plant might be considered a great production machine. It’s been reported that its flowers synthesized more that one hundred exclusive compounds -known as phytocannabinoids- besides a great number of terpenes and flavonoids (which also have therapeutic properties), polyphenols, amino acids, among others; reaching the production of more than 400 different chemical compounds. Is well known that the highest psychoactive substance present in cannabis is delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Between the effects this cannabinoid produces is relaxation, euphoria or sense of well-being and palliative possibilities, by cannabidiol (CBD) help, highlighting this last one for its therapeutic but no significantly psychoactive properties; so that it has been of much interest in studies and therapeutic applications.
It has been stated that any substance may be toxic in a dose high enough. Users of cannabis derivatives, like THC, have to start their administration slowly, until they reach the ideal dose. On their behalf, many patients can reach high doses of CBD without any detrimental effect on their bodies. To use cannabis in an effective way, you must consult a specialist who can establish, through appropriate criteria the respective dosage.

President Bill Clinton called it "an attack against America," but after Libyan agents planted a bomb aboard Pan Am Flight 103, killing 259 people in the air and 11 on the ground, America did not strike back. Instead, the grieving relatives of the victims did the unthinkable—as mere civilians-and tried to force Libya to pay for its crime. Lawyers told the families that they could never sue Libya in American courts, and they were right. This would require changing a bedrock principle of international law—a change that every government in the world feared and fought, including the United States itself.Working virtually alone at first, Allan Gerson, a former diplomat and prosecutor of Nazi war criminals, took on the case and spent the next eight years on the families’ quest for justice. In this high-stakes game of international power politics and legal maneuvering, there were friendships, jobs, and reputations lost, but a precious principle—that of accountability under the law—was strengthened and preserved. Now Gerson and his co-author, Newsweek writer Jerry Adler, follow the threads of this extraordinary tale back to that deadly night over Lockerbie, Scotland—and forward into a new era of international justice, when terrorists will learn to fear the righteous retribution of their own victims.

What if neurodiverse individuals, including those dealing with autism, could find an integrated approach — in one place — that actually worked? What if they didn’t have to embark on a costly Diagnosis Odyssey, only to end up frustrated and no closer to a solution than when they started? Pediatric neurologist Mark Mintz, MD will show you that it doesn’t have to be this way — because he has found a new path that has been transforming health care and producing better outcomes for his patients. Wrong and inefficient treatment, over-reliance of medications, Byzantine healthcare bureaucracies and antiquated reimbursement systems disconnected from the actual value of care are affecting outcomes. Dr. Mintz will show you the problems with the system, some of which you know about, some of which may surprise you. He will take you to the bottom line and prove why cheaper doesn’t mean less expensive, and show you how a multi-disciplinary approach, inviting many perspectives to each case, actually streamline care and serves patients better. Working with the vast knowledge of his team consisting of professionals who specialize in both the medical and behavior side of diagnosis and treatment, he will show you how they were able to create an integrated system, stop the Diagnosis Odyssey in its tracks and bring real help to children, adults and their families. Join Dr. Mintz on this journey through the healthcare “system” and meet the patients it has ill-served , only to be rescued by him and his team of caregivers. His head-and-heart approach will leave parents of children with autism and other neurological conditions realizing that, no matter their previous experiences, there is still hope.
