Summary

The highly speculative and extrapolatory character of this book will be evident to all who are bold enough to read it. I wish to make it perfectly clear that I have no intention of dogmatising on so obscure a subject. The suggestions which follow are purely tentative, and I am well aware that some of them are likely to prove mutually incompatible. But it is only by the bold formulation and ruthless rejection of hypotheses that progress is made, and even if we are compelled to abandon the Higher Space Hypothesis altogether—as is very possible—the negative information so gained will be of the greater value if the hypothesis has first been given the fullest possible trial.

The astronaut crime that shocked the worldLisa Nowak had driven 900 miles from Houston to Orlando to intercept and confront her romantic rival in an airport parking lot—allegedly using diapers on the trip so she wouldn't have to stop. Nowak had been dating astronaut William "Billy" Oefelein when she learned that Oefelein was seeing a new girlfriend—US Air Force Captain Colleen Shipman. The "astronaut love triangle" scandal quickly made headlines. The world watched as Nowak was dismissed from NASA, pleaded guilty to a felony, and received an "other than honorable" military discharge. An award-winning investigative reporter who covered Nowak's criminal case, Kimberly Moore offers behind-the-scenes insights into Nowak's childhood, her rigorous training, and her mission to space. Moore ventures inside the mind of the detective who studied the actions Nowak took that fateful February night. She includes never-before-told details of Nowak's psychiatric diagnosis, taking a serious look at how someone so accomplished could spiral into mental illness to the point of possible attempted murder.

Artificial Intelligence has revolutionized and transformed Social Media in many innovative ways. With around 3 billion people connected to various social media platforms, they are generating a huge mass of data.
Now the question is, “Why should social media be concerned about all this data floating around?” The answer to this question is that this ‘meta – data’ is of great value to social media platforms.
One reason is that the social networks can keep themselves relevant with times only if they keep themselves abreast about the needs, wants and choices of the users from multiple geographical locations. Another reason is that they get to monetize this information when they share their platforms with advertisers and marketers. AI is one single solution for both these scenarios.

    The Superluminal Universe -...

The Superluminal Universe reveals, for the first time in English, the incredible insights of French quantum physicist Professor Régis Dutheil. Thanks to the development of particle accelerators, physicists are now able to propel particles (tachyons) at a speed close to that of light (300,000 km per second). At these extreme speeds, the laws that govern our universe no longer apply. Professor Dutheil's work has shown that the theory of relativity is not incompatible with that of tachyons, provided that we allow for the possibility of a double reality: that alongside our sub-luminous universe, which follows the law of time, is a superluminal universe. This second reality is another universe, complementary to and symmetrical with ours, governed by superluminal space-time in which light moves 300,000 km/s to infinity. In the superluminal universe, everything is instantaneous. It is possible to conceive of a superluminal being capable of moving from one end of space to the other. This parallel universe consists only of information and consciousness: all information (past, present, future) and the consciousness of all humanity. Professor Dutheil's thesis joins the intuitions of ancient philosophers with current quantum physics to blow our current notions of time, of past and present, of the nature of consciousness, of birth and death right out of the water.

From a doctor living with MS: how to radically improve your quality of life with diet, hormones, supplements, exercise, and other lifestyle adjustments

Most of us take for granted the little things in life—like walking out to the mailbox, socializing with friends, or enjoying a mug of hot coffee. But what if each daily activity required intensive planning and effort? That’s what living with multiple sclerosis is like, and author Michaël Friedman knows this from first-hand experience.

Since his diagnosis of multiple sclerosis a decade ago, Dr. Friedman has been searching for a cure for the disease. After years of research, he realized that he had some of the answers right in his naturopathic medicine toolbox, and others, surprisingly, lay in the realm of conventional medicine. There’s No Pill for This tells his story and offers treatment advice and hope to those who suffer from MS. He does not promise a miracle cure but instead provides the personal prescriptions he follows that are delaying the disease process and radically improving his quality of life, including dietary measures and supplements to support a healthy microbiome and hormone therapies that can reduce neuroinflammation and possibly promote neurorestoration. Dr. Friedman presents a daily protocol for MS patients, including diet, supplement, detoxification, and hormone strategies; mindfulness therapy; physical therapy; and a wide range of beneficial lifestyle adjustments related to exercise, sleep routines, time management, stress management, and more. He also offers special advice for supporting healthy bladder and bowel function and improving oxygen supply.

In the book’s conclusion, Dr. Friedman reflects on what this complicated chronic disease has taught him, and continues to teach him, about the value of humility and about what is truly important in life.
