Summary

Abigail Richards has come to Weymine Manor as a pastry chef, hoping it will ease the grief she still feels after losing her husband. Never having worked for the toffs before, she's not sure what to expect. But to Abby's surprise, her employer is nothing like she had imagined.
As Lord High Commissioner of the Western Marches, Marcus Weymine is the most powerful man in the country. But he's also miserable. He spends his days managing the recovery of Our Lady's nation after the war and fretting over his daughter Millie, the first Animal Conduit in history. Even worse, no one at the Manor talks to him like he's a real person. At least until he meets his new pastry chef.
Suddenly, Marcus has more on his mind than just duty.

Well-behaved women don’t lust after men who love to misbehave.
Heiress Evangeline Chandler knows how to keep a secret . . . like her life-long crush on the tattooed hottie who just happens to be her big brother’s friend. She’s a Chandler, after all, and Chandlers don’t hook up with the help. Then again, they also don’t disobey their fathers and quit their respectable jobs, so good-girl rules may no longer apply.
Gabriel Hunter hides the pain of his past behind a smile, but he can’t hide his sudden attraction to his friend’s sheltered little sister. Eve is far too sweet to accept anything less than forever and there’s no chance of a future between the son of a housekeeper and the town’s resident princess.
When a wedding party forces Eve and Gabe into tight quarters, keeping their hands off each other will be as hard as keeping their clothes on. The need that draws them together is stronger than the forces that should shove them apart . . . but their sparks may not survive the explosion when long-buried secrets are finally unearthed.

“[Caroline Linden] touches every emotion.”—Julia Quinn
What happens in Bath stays in Bath—or not. Blame It on Bath is the second installment in Caroline Linden’s breathtaking new historical romance series, The Truth About the Duke, in which the three sons of the Duke of Durham, at risk of losing their inheritance, seek their fortunes…and, hopefully, love. Writing in a voice that will remind readers of Julia Quinn and Liz Carlyle, RITA Award-nominee Linden spins a wonderfully sensual yarn about a blackmailed nobleman facing the loss of his birthright and bent on revenge, and the willing heiress he intends to marry for her money—a lady who has loved him from afar for years.
