Vrnda Devi, was a successful vegetarian restauranteur and host of television cooking shows "Vrnda's Kitchen." Her celebrated spiritual master was A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Devi was a dedicated animal-rights activist and managed a ten-acre cow protection facility (Goshalla) in New York. Sripad Jagannatha Dasa is her husband.
